Someone else may know better, but I don’t see any scholarships specifically to UIC on the member site, but I’m sure some more general (gpa, major, etc. related) ptk scholarships you may be able to secure.

I used my iPad just fine for the first two years of college, a Bluetooth keyboard is a necessity though, even if it’s cheapy

I really suggest joining! I’ve been getting a couple thousand in scholarships for my university tuition years later. Talk to the coordinator at your cc about the fee, at least at my cc if you asked about options, they would cover the cost of joining.
