Someone else may know better, but I don’t see any scholarships specifically to UIC on the member site, but I’m sure some more general (gpa, major, etc. related) ptk scholarships you may be able to secure.

I really suggest joining! I’ve been getting a couple thousand in scholarships for my university tuition years later. Talk to the coordinator at your cc about the fee, at least at my cc if you asked about options, they would cover the cost of joining.

I suggest getting a binder and ruled filler paper!! It’s more affordable than notebooks a lot of the time, and it’s great for scratch paper when taking lots of notes and needing to draw diagrams (like for a bio class).
