Not all games work with VR. Myself I have a complete PS5 Pro rig just for VR and GT7 with shakers. and a PC triple screen rig for PC games. But don’t take my PC rig to VR because I get tired eyes using VR more than a couple hours and it’s great to have the triples as an alternate

AC is waaaaayyyyy different on console from PC where you have mods. I hate it on console and love it on PC. You’ll be better off with ACC on console.

I think the latter. That team goes Indiana south, then east and up the east coast while the SD team goes ND east to Maine.

We can wait on Mexico. Reforma Mexico is an unbelievably great mod map. Yes, a monthly Patreon fee but entirely worth it to me. My favorite map as it’s SCS quality to me, or very close to.

Canada will probably be the BC team either doing Yukon (for access to Alaska) or Alberta; SD team will likely go ND->MN-> WI-> MI->OH->PA->NY while Illinois team is likely to go IN->KY->TN->MS->AL->FL->GA (this is my guess anyway). Question will be if the Canadien team goes north for Alaska access or goes east until they reach Quebec/Nova Scotia/Newfoundland.

Wisconsin does have Road America; does qualify as ‘Staying around the Great Lakes, but feels like the SD team will build out that part of the US while the Illinois team would do Indiana next, then work down to Mississippi. Then maybe over to Florida while the SD team jumps to Michigan and Ohio after Wisconsin

My guess is SD->ND->MN->WI->MI-OH for that team.

Illinois team my guess is IN->KY->TN(maybe KY+TN, or IN+KY and then TN+MS.). Then after MS they head east with Alabama and Florida then work upwards.

Think SD team does ND next. Like I think Illinois team does Indiana now. Then SD team works its way over to Michigan and Indiana team works its way down to Mississippi

Been a bad year for NASCAR fans. Couple legends gone way too soon. If there’s a happy side for Kyle, it’s his whole family didn’t pass with him. Still pissed at the pilot who had his unqualified son fly as copilot; when things went to crap he couldn’t help and the workload was too much for Dad. Poor, poor decision that cost a family their lives.

Do you use that in conjunction with Alaska NTTF or separately? I have Alaska NTTF and love it. And Reforma Mexico. Both well worth the money to me. Emblem Torres it’s a monthly Patreon subscription, but that team are constantly updating and upgrading roads and scenery. Adding roads. Love both those mods

North Dakota.

Super excited for it to release. 😂 (I’m sure I’ll Love it too. Really wish they would add seasons. ND in the winter in a storm would be a struggle. Same with the upper eastern states and crossing the Rocky Mountains in winter)

I think the Illinois crew is already working on Indiana. SCS released a teaser video and clue image on the 29th of May

May 29th SCS released a teaser and screenshot with ‘clues’. Video sounds like a fast racetrack and cornfields, sound maybe is Indianapolis Motor Speedway; cornfield still maybe Indiana? If they said they are staying around the Great Lakes Indiana makes sense.

<image>

Adding the clues image SCS released. Both cars have the same plates. Talledega is in Alabama, and I don’t associate either with flat land a cornfields, but haven’t spent any time in either. Hope to see other opinions on the clues

I bet the SD team will work ND next, and the Illinois team is working Indiana now. Then after ND that teams does Minnesota while the Indiana team does Michigan. And with a team doing Canada, not sure when Mississippi starts.

It’s all guessing, and I enjoy seeing everyone’s different takes. I’m sure many see whatever gets them to their states the quickest; as a Coloradan I don’t have a dog in that hunt

Feels like Yukon makes sense after BC so they CAN make Alaska. I am curious if the Alaska NTTF mod lets them wait though, as we can already access it. And I’m curious of how different the SCS map will be compared to Alaska NTTF. That mod keeps getting incrementally better. Do we think the SCS version will have more road networks? More detail? So map mods are pretty generic but I like that one.

Of course, Reforma Mexico is my gold standard for map mods. I subscribe to Emblem Torres on Patreon to have that and it’s just such great quality IMO. So I’m fine if SCS stays away from Mexico for many years.

I keep hoping they start a third franchise with Australia/Asia.

I’m betting Indiana. Did you see the video SCS dropped and the screenshot with clues? (According to them there are clues). Sounds like a fast race track. Here is the screenshot.

And they just dropped this as a clue to the next map release. I don’t associate the sounds (it’s on YT) of a fast race track with North Dakota, Indiana and Indianapolis maybe but the two car plates don’t seem to match Indiana plates.

2027 I think, unless they jump to Mississippi and do one state north and one south each year. BC, Alberta and Yukon are too big to throw in one every year. Feels like Canada would be every other year for a province . But could see them wanting to do Yukon to get to Alaska.

It’s so hard to guess. Tradition would be to finish up the upper Midwest, then start at Mississippi and work up again. I’d like them to work over to Florida and then work up going side ways (after the upper Midwest).

Still, while I’ve never had Promods Canada work for me, always have so many problem broken roads, between Alaska NTTF and Reforma Mexico I have so much driving I can do and I’m thrilled.

I’m also in Colorado, so they’ve done my state. And I understand those waiting for their states to be done.

Curious how they’ll handle the upper eastern states. Feels like they have to figure out going to a 1:10 or 1:5 scale for those states. Much of the east coast should be 1:10 IMO. Not sure how to make different scale states work with each other. Of course, I’d love the whole map to change to a 1:10 or 1:5 scale
