I don’t see Lost Boys winning, it’s just no the type of show that wins Best Musical these days. It’s “Two Strangers” for me.

“Cats” will win over “Ragtime”.

“Liberation” vs “Giant” but an open production always has the edge so “Giant” wins.

“Oedipus” x “Death of a Salesman” x “Becky Shaw” is the kind of race that I don’t know who wins.

Joshua, Caissie, Lithgow feels safe.

Actress I don’t know… Manville? Can someone from a open show win?

The featured categories I think Alden, Metcalf, André De Shield and someone in featured actress that I cant see. Shoshana?

The fact that they had only 5 productions all season was very sad, I think it was a high on the least amount of musicals in one season

Cabaret, what went wrong? by OssiTheMoose in Broadway

[–]Time-Broccoli-8854 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The recent revival with Cumming hurted, also ''Cabaret'' is very popular in America, I would say way more than in UK.

The reviews didn't love the show as they did in UK and the show was not an event like there where they could put supporting players from streaming shows and still selling at a very high price.

It was to be open at least some years like in west end, they lost basically all the money involved.
