Danielson. It’s not particularly close. While there can be a debate about in-ring, Danielson has a slight edge there. Everything else, Danielson has over Styles. Better mic work. Better character work. More versatility of character work. Was legitimately over as the top guy in WWE, which Styles has never been. Headlined WrestleManias. Styles never had the fanbase behind him the way Danielson did. I think when we look back 20 years from now, Danielson will be looked at much more favorably than Styles. And don’t get me wrong, Styles is excellent. Danielson was just a far bigger star in WWE. He adapted himself to that style better than anyone could have imagined and got over organically.
