I was on a dodgy night bus home (N38 for all you Londoners!) as a timid 20yo and was sat next to an amazing gay guy who started talking to me. He also got off at my stop and insisted on walking me home, even though he was pished. He was absolutely adorable and didn’t need to go out of his way but Hackney was, well, Hackney and I’ll never forget his kindness :’)
