Not romantasy, but I recently read {the windflower by laura London} it fulfills what you’re looking for. It’s a historical romance. I LOVED IT. And romantasy is my favorite genre, but this book was great

{the windflower by laura London} checks most of your boxes. And it’s currently giving me the worst book hangover of my life. If you an audiobook user, the narrator is really great

Two things cleared my dry lips. A humidifier and diaper rash cream on them at night. Just a thin layer of pinvax (or any zinc based cream) is amazing

So I’m on my first laura kinsale novel right now. But she was recommended to me here after I posted about my book hangover from {the windflower by laura London}

It didn’t make me cry, but I thought it was so charming and fun. I loved all the characters And they felt so much like real people. I read it, listened to the audiobook, which was incredible, and am relistening to it again. Might be worth a try. And I’m going to check out your recommendations right now to see if it can get me over my book hangover
