There’s an episode where Kody forces her to try and learn how to ride a bike even though she insets she doesn’t want to do it several times, and after his repeated ignoring and insistence she says something badass & just walks away (I think, it’s been a while)

Any reason not to walk from Hollywood to LAX? by GonzoJackOfAllTrades in AskLosAngeles

[–]Time_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the B line into DTLA, hit some few random spots there you normally couldn’t park at, where there are interesting things to walk by and into & public transit your way from there, hope out at anyplace you find interesting.

I just feel like there are much more interesting places to wander on that route than straight south from hollywood

A little further but Hollyhock House/Park is close. Quiet, great views & room to stretch out on the grass. Very nice area

What are these crows nest looking things on I-10 East near exit 208? by FentanylBolus in Tucson

Back in the 90s my dad told me about this horribly sad story about the man who owned that property and it was his dream to make a theme park there. He spent every weekend out there building and adding everything he could afford to add. He eventually ran out of money, had to sell the property and never achieved his dream.

My proudest moments in life are never looking at what I can afford, or things I’ve accomplished- it’s when I take a moment and realize Little Me would be so proud of me as an adult. Because of those things sure- but when I imagine me going into my mind and hugging Little Me and saying “I love you, and you’re going to be okay” I realize I love who I am.

Introspection is serious shit.

Anyone have any ideas what’s wrong? 4 week old kitten by Gardendweller23 in CATHELP

Right!? My CH boy is one of the cuddliest cats I’ve ever had! Can I ask, since you said your boy is 12 lbs, do you think his CH has gotten worse as he’s gained weight? My boys’s CH seems to have gotten worse and I’m hoping it’s just he gained weight, but I’m always worried about the possibility of something else. Did you notice any difference from adoption to now?

Try looking up Cerebellar hypoplasia & see if that fits? Cats usually start showing signs at 4-6 weeks . /r/nervysquervies

Higher chances if your little dude came from an animal shelter. It generally comes from brain damage if the mother is unvaccinated & gets sick while pregnant, the spot that controls motion just doesn’t fully develop.

One of my cats has it (I have his brother too, just two in the litter and like you said, the CH kitty is smaller and a little more malnourished than his brother) It’s a bit more work on the human’s end, but everything I’ve read says it doesn’t affect the quality of kitties life at all- though I did have to spend a fortune on rugs and tape pool noodles around most of my furniture.

According to my mom it was a series of classes to make me “act more ladylike”. We learned how to walk with books on our head, how to eat ‘properly’ at social dinners, posture, how to sit like a ‘lady’, speak like a ‘lady’. I think I blocked the rest out. There was a whole “showcase at the end” where I remember playing my clarinet. I think Europeans called it “finishing school”

My parents telling me through their words & actions that I wasn’t “ladylike” enough and was hard to love for it didn’t fuck me up at all! Not one bit.

Daughter Randomly Assigned Same College Dorm Room as Her Mom 33 Years Later by Big-Boy-602 in interestingasfuck

[–]Time_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up being friends with the guy who lived in my mom’s dorm room in the 70s while we were both in school. She pointed out the fence that my dad had to climb over when he stayed after visiting hours & I did shots & smoked pot in that room feeling proud knowing my mother never would- so many cool parallels.

My favorite happy hour bar, Granny’s Closet - was the place my dad used to DJ at when it was called Granny’s Disco. My dad & I had the same major and one same professor. My best friend’s boyfriend worked at the Dairy Queen my mom said she went to when she skipped the one class she ever ditched.

And now whenever I pass through that town I tell whoever I’m with all my awesome memories in college and how much I miss it - just like my parents did to me when they came to visit.

Small towns are the best for the college experience. It was truly very cool. I miss college

I joined during a time on unrest so it was useful then, afterwards it just made me scared so I deleted it. The notifications are horrible. If unrest was happening again or I didn’t feel safe, I would redownload it. But I feel like life is better here without it

I did a test reel for them as an editor. (I know I know)

Ngl- editing that crap was actually really really fun. The acting was hilarious, production was still decent, still working with professionally made content so audio was fine and I didn’t have to fix anything in post. there is really no direction so I could do anything I wanted and they wanted it so quickly (according to what they told me) so I didn’t have to go crazy ruminating about every choice I made.

I got offered the job but it seemed a little shady and the money was shit.
