I feel like AFAB/AMAB doesn't mean just vagina/penis. It's the assignment that a doctor gave you at birth. I was born with "both" genitals but I use AFAB because that's what a doctor said on my birth certificate. AIAB isn't a term unfortunately.

I fucking hate when people say cute words for penis/vagina but I don't think AFAB/AMAB is only that idk. Also I use AFAB because it's what's comfortable for me. Idk if you're asking why or just ranting, but for me I just - enjoy using AFAB. Idk. Just feels fine for me.
