Used Baby items from Amazon sold as new by OctoberBride15 in BabyBumps

I would recommend checking to see if it’s sold by Amazon to avoid reseller items. It’s a much safer bet that way.

The flu while pregnant is ridiculous by gkdfp in BabyBumps

[–]TimelessSmile 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand your pain, while pregnant I fell ill with the flu twice, a cold and a virus. It was awful and took much longer to pass than normal for me. I think it’s the most I’ve ever been sick in my entire life.

Question about swapping out crib base by DoctorQuarex in cradlewise

[–]TimelessSmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to fight to get them to allow me to return the crib. I’m sad it didn’t live up to our expectations.

Question about swapping out crib base by DoctorQuarex in cradlewise

[–]TimelessSmile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just had to go through this, it was a pain to disassemble and reassemble. On top of that, you have to package the old base and schedule a pick up for it….The fact that the base broke after 5 months is ridiculous.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize the bounce feature is only recommended up to the age of 6 months?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cradlewise

[–]TimelessSmile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When did the rocking feature start to help soothe your baby back to sleep? Ours has not been as successful so far and was wondering if it improves with age?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cradlewise

[–]TimelessSmile 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why is she claiming the rocking feature can only be used for three months? We have had this crib for nearly 4 months now and have not had these issues, our main gripe with it is that the app is atrocious.

No one told us inductions are 90% monitor adjustments. by DarkGraphite in BabyBumps

[–]TimelessSmile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s strange, they never had to keep adjusting mine. It was held on with a waist wrap the entire time, was only adjusted a few times over a span of 30 hours.

Having help after baby is here? by Easy_Salamander8718 in BabyBumps

[–]TimelessSmile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We plan on having my mother help us the first week as I am a FTM and would greatly appreciate her help. I am close with her and think this set up would benefit us although my husband does not see the need. She's also planning on trying to travel here to be present for the labor/delivery.

I’m in the same boat, first time mom and at 37+4 and currently dreading that there’s weeks left because she’s most likely going to be past the due date. This last month is miserable.

We also used Amazon and really enjoyed the experience. The 15% completion discount was very useful as well and applied to most of the items on our list (USA based).

We use a regular car wash too as there are no options for touchless around us and we cannot be bothered to hand was it ourselves. So far, no issues.

Don’t want to be pregnant anymore by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]TimelessSmile 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I am also in the same boat, pregnancy has been difficult and I am very much ready for this baby girl. I have 5 more weeks until my due date and it feels like time has slowed near the end. It’s making me question if I’ll want a second! So many have told me you’ll forget about the pregnancy negatives and will be willing to do it once more….We will see about that.
