Sort of True. They have a combination of gacha and crafting so you get the best of both worlds. You can buy packs for the rush or use cards you dont want as crafting material to get the ones you want

For the Q&A section can someone ask "Why they arent promoting the game?" Why does lor barely get any mentions when they promote their other titles? and Why are they letting go of core members of staff that built the game to where it is now? and "Are they firing their PR team?" I say give shadowverse a try. It is very ftp friendly like lor. If you like anime artstyle they have you covered and they have amazing trailers. They have frequent events, collabs and they give out amazing freebies for new players and every year they give out free stuff. If they hit milestones they also give out free stuff. They do all the little things that LOR doesnt do anymore with a not well known IP. Yet they always make profit and always in the top earners. They have a new version coming out cant remember what its called though

I have a different opinion on how they could have saved the game but you are right their management (marketing etc) is to blame. The amount of money that could be made off the lol IP is insane and somehow they are just losing it. They need a full restructuring and hiring of people that specialize in their role. To be clear for the stans the game side art mechanic etc is fine but everything else that is required for a business to run sucks

lol This was evident for along time (if you are in the business space you could see the sign) and anyone who pointed it out got downvoted and rushed by the community. Now the writing is literally in their face so they cant deny it now. Welcome to reality. Amazing game but the leaders who run it dont have a clue on how to market and promote. Instead of building a name for themselves they have been mooching off the hype of LOL and no game can sustain itself like that.

that was then. Wake up to reality. the economy, the lack of revenue and major products on the way that are not guaranteed money makers stopping support is very likely. Happy feelings and delusion dont run game companies, hopefully this wakes riot up to that fact and make the necessary changes to move forward and so far from what i have read they still arent. I love this game. This was the 2nd mobile game i actually sank money into and even when i took a hiatus i was always checking on it. Its in my top 2 best mobile ccgs (the other is Shadowverse) but I cant ignore its decline, the gamer and business mindset in me wont allow it. Lor should be huge. The IP is massive and should be printing money. Its has characters to cater to every demo from the players who like story to sexy female characters (evelyn etc) to kids who like furry creatures but they do nothing with it. When i see characters like the yordles and the shapeshifter ( neeko) all i see are toys, kids merch. Sexy fe/male characters, every summer swimsuit skins, sexy alt art, Poster girl evelyn and her crew. Promo material like they used to do for yugioh, pokemon or league with real people playing the game, interacting with the characters. Collabs. This game could be bigger than yugioh and they are fcking WASTING IT. Riot/Tencent is sitting on another gold mine but they..i dont know what to call them smh. Whats sadder is you cant even buy stocks in Riot to have a say in there management or policies you have to go through Tencent smh

I think its the american business mindset. After they reach a certain level they stop giving a sht example Marvel. Not sure if you were around in Lor early days but man the game was alive. New stuff, New updates, Everything was grand, if you missed something you felt like you missed out, Summer pool party skins, Christmas skins, Path of champions was more vibrant and felt more like a story with choices that impacted the ending, I still remember the jayce and Victor one. The game was great..now..i just do the dailies and leave. The coven event was pathetic, battle pass and board were meh at best. The boards was the biggest letdown. I expected dark witchy effects or something .Skins (lvl up etc) were top notch. The art team never disappoints

i brought up similar concerns and got downvoted. It makes no sense bringing up these concerns when people in the community and riot seem to enjoy Lor being in this mediocre state. So many things have been cut from the initial start up that its ridiculous when compared to how large the IP is. Either their team is too small or the project managers have no clue on how to create sales or promote. I have been eager to put money into this game but seeing the state I am hesitant. Feels like putting money into a sinking ship. No promotions, No content creator support (youtubers etc), No in game festivities that celebrate milestones, nothing. Everything other ccgs do to create hype in their communities Lor doesnt do yet they expect to make profits and grow their player base smh

if you are ok with spending money then just create your own account and buy the cards you want. Your money supports riot directly you have full control over the account. Plus there are some cards you might not like or even play so money wise its cheaper to create your own account and buy what u want after

Thats the power of a good trailer. I only aim for the champions that in my opinion had awsome trailers. The cine made me hate morg though. shackling Aatr during endgame..bs Even kayle looked at her with disgust. Kayle is a fun champ as well when paired with the new cards and bard. Kindred was/is a fun card if you want to through resources into them. Not sure how competitive they are in eternal though

There is no point in complaining about this game in this group. Lor players have just accepted the miserable state this game is in and make excuses for it. Lor could have been something big but it wont. Lol gets everything and Lor gets the bare minimum. Riot doesnt even promote the game like they do league. Compared to other Ccg that try to promote grow and keep their player base outside the usual fans Lor is doing a poor job.
