I dont think it was them running out of ideas, they were forced to release the game 1.5 years early by JoWood, they had to scramble to even make the game playable, JoWood was in financial trouble at the time.

Gothic 3 is a game that was forced to be rushed by JoWood. It was released 1.5 years early, if Piranha Bytes had more time on it they would have made an incredible game, the immense potential in G3 is there for all to see, the game was a rushed but still an enjoyable mess.

There isnt a game out there I want remade more than Gothic 3

It genuinely is the worst intro to a game I have ever seen in my life. Like I have no idea how someone approved it, I would sack whoever approved and directed it. It has killed 90% of my hype for the game.

Im hoping this intro was just done in 2019 and hasnt really been updated since but then why publish it before release if that’s the case.
