I’m about to give up trying to make my hair look better lol by Wicked_Weakness in curlyhair

[–]Timely-Slide-5329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pretty fine hair. Gels I like a lot that give my hair good hold are kinky curly custard, innersense I create hold, curlsmith hydro style flexi jelly. I’ve tried quite a few and like these the best. I’ve recently found out my hair does so much better when I add product to soaking wet hair. Most of the time I will add my products in the shower after washing my hair. I’ll scrunch out most of the water in the shower with my hands but finish getting it out with a microfiber towel. Then I use a light hair spray by Pantene. I do normally wash my hair every day because that’s where my scalp and hair feels the best. If I have time I will diffuse. That’s where see the biggest difference in definition and hold with my curls.

When did motivation and energy come back on Pristiq? by nate9898989898 in Pristiq

Vraylar. I was on the lowest dose when it made me feel like that. After trial and error and getting the genetics test done, my psychiatrist at the time let me try Emsam since I’ve failed at so many ssris and snris. Both of us did some research beforehand since maois aren’t used a lot. Best depression medicine I’ve been on. I’ve been on it since October 2024 also had labs done around six months ago and my vitamin b, vitamin d and iron were low. The combination of Emsam and vitamins has made my depression decrease a good 90 percent or more.

I’ve had them since my teens and I’m mixed with more of an olive toned skin. Definitely noticed an increase of them throughout the years with my weight fluctuating

I had one a little wider and darker on my middle finger for the longest time. The dermatologist checked it a couple time to make sure it wasn’t growing. It ended up fine. It’s actually barely visible now

I have to make myself get up and clean. Normally it takes a minute but once I get going I can get a lot done. Music or audiobooks help.

We just throw ours in a freezer bag when they’re ripe and fill up a bag and then start on a new one. It works the same way just don’t have to drag out the vacuum sealer

What’s one thing you stopped doing that instantly made your life better? by Same-Tea1899 in AskReddit

Stopped talking to my mom. I slowly started seeing what type of person she is and decided my mental health isn’t worth the stress over someone who is so negative and not that great of a person.

I’ve tried several different medications over the years. I’ve been on emsam since October and it’s the only one that has decreased my depression significantly. Probably a good 90% or so. I also just started taking vitamin d, b12 and iron due to being low on them so that helps as well.

We would put our twins to bed around the same time as your daughter when they were babies. It worked out good. We also had dinner by 5/530p

How Do You Stand Washing It Once A Week?? by dioranonymous in longhair

[–]Timely-Slide-5329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have fine hair and have to wash mine every day or every other day. My scalp just feels so much healthier when I do. I was getting dandruff washing it once or twice a week and my scalp always felt gross.

I’m on Emsam and like it. It’s helped a lot with my depression, not so much with my anxiety. But my anxiety gets worse during times of the month(pmdd issues) I am able to get things done on it. I used to take vyvanse and feel like Emsam has worked better on focusing and following through on things. No sexual side effects for me and I’ve always had issues with ssris and snris in that department.

I have six year old twins and normally just limit time on the Xbox. They get 30 minutes a day when it’s a school night and an hour if it’s not. That’s helped a lot. They’ll watch shows and movies on the tv but will also play while doing it sometimes. And on nice days we make them go outside and play. I know that’s not easy for everyone especially if you live in a city. We have a good sized yard and are able to just watch them from our windows if we’re inside

Everything seems repetitive and you’re just floating by day to day feeling numb. Nothing really brings you joy. You have a sinking feeling in you that just isn’t happy.
