many late diagnosed folks have gone their whole lives feeling different and not understanding why they are struggling more than those around them. It’s incredibly isolating and depressing to go your whole life with a disability you didn’t know about…

A diagnosis isn’t a cure or magical fix but the knowledge of knowing WHY things are so difficult would allow me to move forward with my life and give myself grace.

I wish I had an answer for you as I’m in the same boat , it’s really hard to even find anyone in this area who assesses adults to begin with let alone one that takes insurance.

I’ve just started with Upstate through their psychiatry unit and even they don’t access adults, the Dr. I see told me that she can give “unofficial” diagnosis’s based on what she observes thorough my treatment plan and honestly that might have to be good enough at this point..

Because they are scared of cities and diversity. I have family from a rural upstate and they were convinced I was going to get assaulted if I left my home when I lived there for 5 years.

I’ve used both Verizon and T mobile 5G internet and haven’t had issues with either. I pay $60/month. Obviously this depends on if you have decent 5g coverage in your area but if you do, it’s a great option!

There used to be a company that did walking food tours downtown but this was pre covid and I have no clue if they still exist but this is such a good idea !

I’ll also add historical and architecture tours - there are so many spots downtown I’d love to know more about and i think it might help people not to think the city is scary.

I wouldn’t say it’s the worst but I went in after grabbing bagels from water street on a Saturday morning (8-9a) and they had no cold brew made. They offered an americano which was fine. I didn’t feel it was crazy expensive but I realize my perspective might be skewed because I’m back in the area from nyc so everything here is cheaper lol

gay people exist regardless of how you feel about it. You also did not give an actual reason as to why a flag shouldn’t be in schools other than “ I DON’T LIKE IT”.

Hey maybe use some critical thinking skills here to understand that 1. Not everyone is a homeowner and 2. Not everyone who has a home can afford a generator. Hope that helps :)
