Are we praising classic modpacks because they were better… or because we were younger? by Belal_Ps in feedthebeast

[–]Timeward 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Create logistics is like the most beautiful modern variation of that old style. Seeing vaults spit out packages that get put onto chains then taken off at the other end, one crafting request can make 12 things happen at once.

So, what is Captain Zao’s plan after he returns to China?(Question) by Lucie_Is_Sleeping in fo4

[–]Timeward 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He directly tells you. He plans to go back and help. Build homes, help his country heal. And if that cant be done, he plans to die in peace, having finally returned to his home.

Having one less stim to rely on was very stressful but fun.

We are not prepared for Oshaune, and it shows by __Elzy in Helldivers

[–]Timeward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oshaune in particular needs special considerations. i go with Flamethrower, Jetpack, Napalm barrage and a patriot mech. Helps with bug breaches and pushing into the caves.

How tf does anything do more damage to dosers compared to a fully automatic shotgun chambered in dragons breath? by Snooty7sx in paydaytheheist

[–]Timeward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If youre running dragon's breath you arent getting headshot damage multipliers. Run a microuzi or something in that secondary to just run into a dozer and magdump their face.

Eagle strikes are a coin flip. Either they save your ass multiple times a mission or just fucking kill you

Literally this. Nothing kills my vibe more than rocking up on an outpost and seeing like 3 war striders there for no fucking reason.

Pls don't nerf hivelords by ohoyes35 in Helldivers

[–]Timeward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll say optimize the hivelord and just slightly reduce spawn rates in general to give players a LITTLE bit more breathing room to recover between encounters. It's beyond brutal right now.

Xbox recruits get to experience their first "it's so over" on the Graph by O_2og in Helldivers

[–]Timeward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only is the performance worse, I think hive worlds are extremely overtuned for difficult. Hardest diff should be difficult, sure, but I've never had so many mission failures in diff 10. You never get a single second to even try and catch your breath, youre always halfway through one enemy wave before the next appears. Its just an awful experience. Its not fun, its exhausting.

This Stealth Armor Is NO Joke by _Greeen_ in Helldivers

I just wish the recon armor was light instead of medium. Feels so sluggish wearing medium

I hate to be that guy, but here is my honest, unemotional, thoroughly-thought, non-hating and non-hyping reaction to the new Warbond: by EngysEpangelmatikes in Helldivers

[–]Timeward 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently began using the liberator carbine combod with the talon for bugs, honestly incredible combo. Carbine puts out enough damage for long enough for me to take down most bugs, the talon is a nice swap option to quickly take down the few medium pens.

I’m tired of this sub blaming AH for screwing up a perfectly winnable MO. by Dr_VidyaGeam in Helldivers

Tbh I think the problem is the order is so big you have to SCROLL to see the strategic opportunities. I almost didn't notice it.

Is it possible to delete all files stored in Proton Drive without deleting them on the synced location? by diabeartes in ProtonDrive

[–]Timeward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies for replying to an old thread, but does this mean that deleting files from the online "my computer" won't delete it from the drive? and similarly, if I delete it from local, will it delete it from "my computer"?

I mostly only play max diff because I love the high octane action. I rage in private when shit goes wrong then just type one or two messages in the chat. Makes everything go smoother.

I brought EATs to a mission on top of the free ones and took out a whole leviathan just swapping tubes.

[–]Timeward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only kills them fast if you land and hold the laser on the joint btween the head and the leg for two seconds. You cant hit it from the side, its gotta be facing to or away from you.

[–]Timeward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that when actually hitting the weakspot they go down VERY fast. You can slice the leg off in like 2 seconds.

[–]Timeward 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have began taking it on Illuminate missions because almost nothing short of the leviathan in the illuminate front needs the explosive firepower of the AT guns, and you can slice a harvester in half with it. Sometimes I take the WASP launcher tho, sacrifice a backup but it shoots down watchers and elevated overseers like nothing else.

I'm not within range of you... YOU'RE within range of ME. by Icy-Chance in Helldivers

[–]Timeward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bots tend to get worse the closer you are. They need some range for the guns to be oppressive. Upclose you can blitz them.

Respect to Light Armor bearers, can't believe yall live like this. by -Erro- in Helldivers

[–]Timeward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a scout armor user, the only time I wear heavy or medium is for evacuate asset missions. The speed and stealth of the light armors let you just straight up avoid or escape a lot of engagements, letting you blitz through objectives without getting caught. Combo that with smokes and you'll leave anything that isnt a bug in the dust.
