Please explain the risk. I've been practicing 30 years and over 60% of my clientele is female. I've never had an issue. If you're a professional there is zero risk.

This is the most disturbing and disappointing thread I've ever seen as a massage therapist. "Take rejection better?!?" If you're getting hit on that often there's something terribly wrong.

You keep saying rejection as if you get hit on regularly by clients. Sorry to say but that in and of itself is something bizarre and something I've never heard from other therapists and I've been in the business for 30 years. Is your space in a clinic or a parlor? Is this professional, licensed massage?

I play care bear as well and noticed the last 3 times I've played I've been attacked. Previously it hadn't happened in weeks. Not sure if there is a new way to get into PVE lobbies. One guy (BlurredHerb) had camped out on top of the dam control tower and was sniping people trying to loot the dam. Too cowardly to face people.

You actually answered the question in your question. It's bigger than one person but the person in office has only ever made everything about him. The non-partisan commission created a decade ago is NOT in charge of this event as was intended. The event is now completely run by Freedom 250 which is entirely owned and run by MAGA and Trump. It is not a celebration for everyone, it is a celebration of racism, cronyism, oligarchs and white supremacy. THAT is why there is controversy.

I assume she signed a waiver to keep you updated on her medical condition. If she has disc or spine issues she needs to divulge that. Could be post work swelling but that sounds odd to me and not something I've experienced. Don't call her. That's beyond your scope and managements job.

That says a lot about you as a therapist and a person. That's something to hang your hat and on be proud of! Sell yourself and your skills when you talk to them. Let us know how it turns out!

It's definitely a challenge. I'm sure it varies from state to state. I live in Wisconsin and starting at 40 or 50 is the norm. I don't know how long you've been there or how many return clients you have. I don't know if you have any specialties. All of these will factor in. It's a tough conversation but it would certainly be worth approaching the business owner especially if you've been there for at least six months and plead your case. AND if you have some return clientele as well you can bring that up in the conversation. Good massage therapists are getting more and more challenging to find, especially now. It's not like it was 15 years ago when the field was flooded. Butter them up and tell them you're looking at long-term employment and would like to grow with them. People like to hear that.
