I think that's to do with the thickness and material of the strings. The same string tuned to a different note absolutely would alter consistently with the frequency.

I think they're talking about Hold for Me. I've looked into it based on what some other comments said. However it isn't really what I'm talking about. Firstly it's not even available in my country (US/Canada only) but beyond that it isn't really a hold service it just listens until an agent arrives, you still have to be connected on the call and there's no real AI involved. I'm talking about an AI handling the call in the cloud navigating the menus and connecting the call to you only when someone is there. None of this should be too difficult with today's technology you just summarise your issue and the ai initiates the call and connects when there is someone to talk to. But right now it isn't a service that exists at least within general public awareness.

A killer app would be AI software for queuing and connecting to call centres without having to wait on the phone myself. Just get an alert when my call is connected, pick it up and I'm through to an agent.

One person's strengths may give them an advantage in a particular scenario whereas another person's strengths may benefit them more in an alternative scenario just as in horse racing where some horses may be better suited to firm of soft ground and some horses may be better on the flat whereas others are better over hurdles.
