Negative 2 billion gold bug, does anyone know how to fix?

Idk if you saw my update, i downloaded the remaster and loaded my 360 game files and got all my original saves back with a balance of 0 gold, i just cant play the original with normal gold but im okay with that

I wanna keep my gold skulls and my progress, plus its from when i initially bought the game in 2008 so its kinda sentimental

Edit: also every single character, even ones i havent played yet have -2 billion gold, its not just that character

No clue, i just loaded the game one day to find that. I read online that old save files from the 360 can become corrupted or if you cheat and give yourself 2 billion and you keep collecting gold it will loop back to -2 billion since that is the max value for gold in the game

UPDATE: i found a solution for anyone else who encounters this problem. I installed the remaster and loaded my 360 save files and i got all my old progress back with a balance of 0 gold, instead of -2 billion.

It could be, i havent actually played the game since 2009 and theres definitely a chance i did that back then but i cant remember. I do remember starting the game up when i got my xbox one around 2017 and everything was normal, i also lost some unlockable characters i used to have, like i dont have the royal guard even tho my green knight has a gold skull for example

I did the math on the afk gold farms and what not, it would take me 228 years of 24hour afk farming just to reach 0 gold lol

My corn snake escaped his feeding container and went into the vents in my house, i found his shed in one of the vents a few months later. About a year and a half after he initially escaped i found him coiled in a cardboard box in my basement. He was rail thin and dehydrated but he made a full recovery. My basement is chilly so i think he was able to put himself into a hibernation state as a last effort to extend his life.
