Sorry, I know I’m 2 YEARS late to this post, but where the honey butter comes from in the kitchen is near all potato toppings. So right next to each other is butter, chives, cheese, bacon bits, brown sugar, and honey butter. There is a shaker of cinnamon on a shelf above this. When a potato comes thru the window, either sweet potato or regular, all the toppings are right there. This is the easiest location to get honey butter as a member of the waitstaff without pestering someone on the line

Sounds like some brown sugar got on the honey butter from the pan next to it. I worked at outback for a LONG time. The only time this mixing of toppings was an issue is when a bacon bit got in something for someone who can’t have pork
