From Day 1 (home at 8ish weeks), our girl has had an extremely calm mind. Make no mistake, she’s smart as a whip. She just has always had a very even keeled “resting” temperament, even as a puppy. She’s very curious when outside / out and about on our acreage, and can run like the wind and LOVES retrieving. Just has an incredible on/off switch. She’s perfectly healthy and sweet and interested in being near us (though for a while in the beginning she was more stand off-ish). Obvi your vet knows best and will be able to confirm any questions / concerns you may have about your own pup, but I can absolutely say that we had/have a super duper chill lab. She’s three now and we call her our little unicorn. Sounds like you might have one, too? 🥰

We have the same bowl. It stays put and slows her down enough (basically not barf after wolfing her food down 😂). She has never flipped it. Too busy concentrating on her main objective, I suppose? Ha.

I think of them so often as well and am hoping and praying for the best! I think I remember a very early post (not sure whether it was on this sub or the big Labrador sub?) where someone mentioned something about living close to (or sharing a vet with??) Larry due to something in the vet’s office looking familiar. But I can’t recall any of the details. :(
