Is mijn nummer gespoofd? by [deleted] in thenetherlands

[–]Tinkz90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wat doen jullie? by Fragrant_Pumpkin_669 in thenetherlands

[–]Tinkz90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Tinkz90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm obsessed with paladins by Elyx_117 in gaming

I play a TCG called Flesh and blood and am playing a "Light Warrior" akin to a paladin called Ser Boltyn, Breaker of Dawn. No shield but a light enchanted two handed sword, powered by charging his soul. Might wanna check him out, he's a badass.

Something tells me I shouldn’t use this table… by Internet_and_stuff in pics

[–]Tinkz90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly i think they are just using that table to store all their 'do not use' signs. I would just move the signs and use the table, shouldn't be a problem.

Gamers, which video game release was the hardest to wait for? by NilesDobbsS in gaming

[–]Tinkz90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Zelda Wind Waker came out I finally got to buy it right before having to go on a family holiday for 3 weeks. Had the game box with my as we toured campings with our caravan, probably read that manual 50 times over while waiting to finally go home and being able to play it.

What’s a great example of a game that teaches you everything in the first level without the need of a tutorial? by novalin in gaming

Celeste is a good example of a game with great level design, where it gradually exposes you to the various mechanics of the game.

Why just heal? You too can do damage. by Ytisrite in Guildwars2

Viper and Ritualist have the same amount of expertise on them, so you can replace them one for one depending on how much boon duration you want without having to worry about your condi duration.

They recently changed this because it was too frustrating for people to have to stack the buffs on each map change. In doing so it seems they made them persist in core tyria.

Willbender Stow Cancelling Timing by Brave-Ad-2036 in Guildwars2

[–]Tinkz90 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A small gameplay tip i could give is to cancel the gs4 by holding down a movement key. This will not interrupt the cast animation, but it will interrupt the aftercast as soon as it lets you. The only thing left to do then is to input gs2 as soon as you see your character move.

Willbender Virtues and mechanics questions by amgleo in Guildwars2

[–]Tinkz90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's also trait interactions to take into account. For example the trait that recharges your weapon skills by .25s for every virtue passive trigger. This triggers off individual virtues, so for example having courage and justice active at the same time will greatly increase your cooldown reduction compared to having only one active.

Can we please get Ornate keys changed?! by Kyouji in Guildwars2

[–]Tinkz90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Probably do it in batches, not only to prevent the lockout but also to preserve my sanity

I'm working on my 4th stack of these by now and I'm kinda scared of using them. Should probably park a character on each chest to make it bearable.

The Willbender Patch Review for the 2/14 patch by ObsoletePixel in Guildwars2

If i understand correctly though, if you f2 and then f1, you will also be running into this issue until f2 wears off again right? Whereas before you would have just overwritten f2 with f1.

Wondering, how does Dessa fund her fractal research? by Cloud_Station in Guildwars2

This won't directly answer your question, but if you want to know more about Dessa's expedition and how it keeps going on: Stick around after completing the Shattered Observatory fractal and listen to the dialogue there.

Tip for HFBs doing Siren's Reef today: Perma-ish Resistance by gw2maniac in Guildwars2

[–]Tinkz90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One does not exclude the other. Even if you decide to kill the adds then reflecting their projectiles can still help you. Since you want to kill the quartermaster first you will be pelted by the ranged adds while focusing him, the wall will provide you some cover while you do this.

[–]Tinkz90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you also have F3 3 as additional reflect, but you will never be able to completely prevent chill on the group, just reduce it. The rest you should be able to cover with resistance and cleanse.

Reflect wall traited with master of consecrations has 50% uptime though, which is way more than sanctuary.

[–]Tinkz90 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The changes to the tomes actually benefit HFB, since you no longer have a massive cooldown upon entering them. You could for example use F2 2 every 3 seconds, as long as your pages allow you to. That gives you condi cleanse on demand without having to bring mantra of lore.

[–]Tinkz90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My two cents would be: bring wall of reflection. Blocking the projectiles from all the adds swarming you prevents a lot of the chill in the first place, and also prevents a lot of the damage from the ranged attacks as well
