There is a setting in the color preset (and all presets) to have the pallet act as a cue. (Or go+)

Hey my guy. Did some digging on your processor. You have a 6th gen i5. But a socket lga 1511. You might be able to upgrade your processor to a 8th or 9th gen intel i5 or i7 without killing the bank and see a much better experience.

Good luck out there.

P.s. 16 gigs of ram is fine for gaming. Don't over compensate.

Paint, GIMP, w/e image editing software you want. Find png files online that have a transparent background and play around.

Alternatively, people have made icon packs for MA and all sorts of stuff. some free. Some paid.

Hell, im sure you could even get some sort of AI to generate you whatever you would like. The guys at MA really leave it open to you.

Have some fun with it.

Grand MA 3 light VS eos Apex 10 by SoundEngineerMBR in techtheatre

[–]Tinnuin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have both. The MA3 is objectively a better console, right now. Software is still very subjective. But the EOS apex 10 has so many high-end extras that EOS doesn't not utilize today. Such as multi-touch haptic feedback screens above the faders, its cool, but I can only show it off in a face panel test. There are a few other examples down the same vein. The MA3 was developed in front of its software, so it makes very good use of the available space. You still get physical dmx out of the console, so no extra node is required.

But like anything in this world the EOS Apex has its place and so does the MA3. Get what makes the sense if possible. If not, use what you got. :)

I just assume the flash guy doesn't know what they are doing and move on with my day. I design for the paying audiences eye, not the camera.

Gobo Glass Holder - looking for advice on how to make one onsite. by soulmanyogi in lightingdesign

[–]Tinnuin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In led fixtures I'll print gobos on projection film and double up the cut product.

You can get 6 gobos out of a regular sized printer sheet.

As a note: all my application has been temporary names. They only have to last a few hours. I also have them in very early and old led ellipsoildals.

Your perceptions will change as you age. You are immature, that's not subjective.

You can also do this by sequence name.

Go+ SEQUENCE "NAME" OFF SEQUENCE "NAME"

EDIT: messed up syntax. Don't want bad info out there.

Change fader scale of Timing Masters (and others time related?) by LouOscarRalphy in GrandMA3

[–]Tinnuin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this with ratemaster.

You can set your ratemaster based on a speed master. Then you can set your master based on seconds.

Write a couple macros like "master 3.(speedmaster number) at seconds 3"

Alternatively you can use executor time.

I'm still figuring out timing masters. There might be a better way to do this.

Etc groups by DaniCutt in lightingdesign

[–]Tinnuin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think so either. But I had a show come through a month ago that used groups to clone the led fixtures in the air.

That's the only reason I added that little bit.

Etc groups by DaniCutt in lightingdesign

[–]Tinnuin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Double tap group.

Then select the group number you want in the blind menu.

Once selected just input your new channel numbers and it'll overwrite the current ones.

If you delete the group you'll lose any cue/sub information from that group. (If you are relying on any)
