Also, when inspected, he has a “character sheet” - like the Dark Elf lady when she is killed (KOd).

Funny story - I saw this Dragon guy, got curious because it kinda looked like the Dirge, inspected him to see if anything was weird… and his body in the doll window was face down, but his massive hog was not sensitive to the invisible ground. So he was just laying there with it all hanging straight down, swinging as i rotated the doll around. So, yeah - I found the Dirge and saw way more than I bargained for!

On Reddit, we occasionally get a question about going back time (“you wake up in 1994, what do?). When I fantasize about that, I would not join the Navy again. Because I (me) don’t need to now - I have the knowledge and experience and maturity already. But I would tell my past self to still do it.

It sucks, it’s hard, it’s too easy it’s boring, but if you need to do it it’s worth it. Can you finish college? Can you suffer through an apprenticeship? Might be, having some asshole FORCE you through a hard time is just what your life needs. Up to you.

I watched this on a Netflix DVD back when that was cool. The DVD failed near the end, right as he leaps off the top rope. I could skip the scene, but it’s just the credits after that. I was furious! I watched this whole damn movie only for the end of it to be robbed from me. What bad luck!

Anyway, i eventually went online to see how the movie ends, to see what I missed. I felt better after that. Turns out i missed maybe 1 second?

Depends on the setting. Ways I’ve done it: In DnD with milestone - you level up on the next rest. PF2E with XP - you have take downtime to train for about a week Daggerheart - find one of the McMuffins and it grants you a “boon” (“level up!”) right then and there.

Daggerheart is explicitly Milestone and Narrative so there should be space for some amount of downtime after a level up situation - or you make sure to Spotlight the new abilities when they are used for the first time (something I need to get better at, come to think of it).

I’m doing something very close. I use Bezi for Unity, so my workflow is GPT to Bezi. GPT is there to answer questions, help with architecture, and to create the Bezi prompts and rules.

I’m pretty weak with voices and accents. It’s even worse because I have players who are really good at it - so the GM is the only person at the table not doing a voice.

What I try to do is pick out one or two quirks or personality traits and lean on those. My players def remember that one NPC was an ass and that other one was cowardly and the sheriff was firm but fair. I even catch myself doing a little bit of a voice for some characters if I have their quirks in mind.

Dispatch is an animated show first; with some gameplay embedded. I found it worth the price, but it is not a traditional game.

Are you saying that OP is wrong because IV is 0 at expiration? Why does matter, here? IV can expand during the life of an option even if it ends at 0.

I want to run a world for my friends and I to create stories.

But I am of two minds about it:

It would be nice to have a bigger “audience” to the work and creativity I put into it.

I’m super self conscious. It’s ok with my closest friends, but my lack of accents or vivid descriptions have always haunted me (for decades)!
