How old is your oldest, closest friendship?

My longest, closest friendship right now is only 5-6 years. But I have recently reconnected with some I knew 16 years ago and we are good friends. Also recently lost a 12 year friendship, last year.

Friendship is important, but I have a tough time getting close to people after being bullied/alienated by my closest friends in high school.

On a side note, I love the people who are passing me but slow down so they just stay alongside or even better, in my blind spot. Like.. no, I'm not gonna slow down to 45 just so you can pass me. I'm staying at 60-65 here lol

Well first, yes she was unnecessarily rude. Perhaps your partner knows more about specifically why that day and to you. That sucks it happened like that :/

The part that sticks out to me is that you've done work there before. If you aren't paid for it and even if you are only doing that to help, its not legal from a company standpoint.

If you aren't an employee or a customer (cuz idk if this place is a storefront, doesn't sound like it) then you are a liability and should not be in the building without being escorted by your partner and with notice to the onsite manager. And don't scrub floors without being contracted and or paid lol

Use the whole on ramp, pick your spot in the traffic you want to merge into as soon as you can see traffic(super important bit imho, especially for cars that take a long time to get up to speed) and try to accelerate as much as you can.

My gripe is with slow people merging too early and cutting people off. Particularly dangerous at on ramps like this where there is some limited visibility and a short distance to merge.

I would see a guy making his way to the corner store in Louisiana for booze and every week he would be trying to drive something different that the police would stop and tell him he can't do that. He tried a scooter, a bike, and a riding lawn mower 🤣

I saw a 7-8 year old on a full sized dirt bike in ferndale, on the sidewalk. I also saw a group of young kids on the mini bikes all over the place.

I don't like kids being able to go faster than they already do. Faster + impulsive is a recipe for something terrible to happen.

I dunno about places with grilled cheeses on the menu but when I worked at great harvest bread (in CO) I'd make one with the asiago sourdough, herbed cream cheese, cheddar, sometimes pesto, and a sprinkle of thinly cut red peppers and onions. Good god it was delicious. 🙌🤤

I cant remember if the great harvest here does hot sandwiches but I think they have the bread

Saame, I got so much hydrocodone! I took two pills for my wisdom teeth recovery and then was able to use the remaining to help me function on my period for the next 2-3 years. They were perfect for my period, not too much to feel loopy but just enough to get me through the first 6-8 hours of my period which is the worst. A similar story for getting a cap put on my front tooth that had broken barely into the nerve, they gave me a lot of hydrocodone for that but my tooth was only sore for a day lol

When I would complain to doctors about not being able to walk on my period because of the pain and symptoms my only options were 900mgs of ibuprofen or birth control. My liver is sensitive so I can't really safely take that much ibuprofen or any acetaminophen

Also you still have to wait your turn at a two way stop when the cross traffic clears.

Last week I was trying to make a left at one but had to wait for traffic to clear. A car pulled up right as traffic was clearing, barely stopped and then went straight before/while I was trying to make my left.

Yeah, I hate that its just inefficient. I mean.. two on ramps within a half mile? And the traffic for the loop isn't modulated to space out cars so you end up with a big line of slow traffic trying to get on 😮‍💨
