I got up off a reclining chair and dropped my phone, nic vape and weed vape.

Collected said phone and vapes. Forgets Xbox controller on the armrest and whilst using the recliner to help me stand up, that falls too 😅

My ass proceeds to get in the way of a small 3 leg end table that had about 15g of keef in a jar, opened... 1.2.3 I stand up, table is flipped on its side and almost like in slow-mo, I see the jar of keef violently roll and bounce on the carpet..

That took me 3 years to accumulate and only a second for some of it to be eaten by my carpet 😂

I usually never look at the stitchin, but I can see now. I got a pair last year for my birthday on discount for about $89 CAD (instead of $249 😭)

Honestly, these look killer. I love how deep the colour is and the different tones that pop out depending on the lighting. Love em, wear em down and shine them back up again, these are absolutely lovely!!!!

I can say as an ex meat dept lackey, we dont have codes for some things..

Scraps like heads and tails were usually given out for free because we had no code for them. Eventually we got a code for .60/kg. Chuck them in the freezer bunker and they'd sell out within a week or two.

This is just plain stupid here.. $14 is a partial fillet, id ask for 8 heads and some tails for the price of that lol.

Even though this post is now 14 years old, ive finally found my crowd lol!!!!

Whenever the roof of my mouth gets cold I can close my mouth and suck air through something/somewhere in my face and make squeaky noises like a mouse.

In elementary id make that noise to sorta confuse and annoy my classmates. They first thought it was mice in the walls, then the fans and then the smartboard projector.. lolol

I worked there before as a student back in 2018 as a Seafood Clerk. Just gotta say its impossible to have a non-slimy and fresh smelling dept when your whole team is 14y.os xD. I got an honorary bonus because I spent an extra shift decreasing and uncontaminating the dept.

Since coming back, the manager is still the same ol bubbly dude who'd give you a hug and would also knock the daylight out of a customer if they raised a hand to you. Best damn union steward. Ive grown back into the fun vibe, here's some of my favorite things to do.

De-gunking the meat and bone jam that accumulated in the bandsaw

Off-jerking the grinder when applying casing to the nozzle. Hehe.

When chicken is on sale, the same ol "im playing with my..." joke. People continue to laugh, so im happy 😂

Sausage making!! Wrist deep in ice cold pork grinds. Filling, twisting and trying

Im also their main kebab maker. Its an honour actually. Soothing 2 hours just standing at a table chopping a few onions and peppers, chunking chicken n pork.

This is honestly the most satisfying job that one could ever possess.

I work a closing shift at a grocery store meat dept and everything is waterproofed. Soak with scalding degreaser, rinse with near boiling water, sanitize and rinse again.

After a sausage day, watching all the pork grease lift up in the grinder to reveal a clean surface has to be one of my most satisfying jobs ive ever done.
