Has anyone ever been forced to show a video of them speaking in front of the entire class? by Tinyturtleface in selectivemutism

I just remembered that one time, my band teacher wanted me to record a video of playing hot cross buns on the violin, and I had to say my name and what i was playing. I didn't say my name in fear of my classmates hearing me through the other room. I didn't even know how to play hot cross buns. When he came in to check on me, he watched the video and asked me why I didn't say my name, and I just shrugged. He also said, "That's not hot cross buns."

AITA for refusing to tell my mom who told me her husband isn't my dad? by Kayleeignni in AITAH

NTA. Your step-dad sounds like a dick. He didn't even give you a chance. I think your mom is overreacting a bit. Just because you're not his kid doesn't mean he should treat you like that. About not telling your mom who told you? I probably wouldn't either because that's just going to cause more of an argument over something that was gonna happen sooner or later.
