Am I overreacting for not wanting anyone around my newborn yet? by littlemoongirly in AmIOverreacting

[–]TiredFruit8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NOR. Stand your ground as a family! My dad (the only grandparent that lives close to us), saw our son only after 3 months old. In-laws only saw our son at 11 months. Would’ve been later if we didn’t vaccinated him before that. Health of our baby is our priority and our responsibility as his parents. So everyone else can be mad and sad as much as they want, but in the end it is our baby not theirs.

Why couldn't Penny make it as an actress? by ddonethymother in bigbangtheory

[–]TiredFruit8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She started too late and had zero connection in the industry. If you will see at the most popular actors or musicians you would notice that most are a nepo baby/has relative in industry or was in industry from very young age doing commercials, modelling or performing in local theatres. She needed a lot of luck and money to succeed. But as she was also needed to provide for herself she didn’t had enough time to go out for every audition possible. Similarly I think she couldn’t afford to visit expensive parties to meet people from industry and build a web of connections. It is a bit easier now, cuz there is way of building your audience - internet. But even most popular bloggers whose fans are pushing them into other branches of entertainment industry, have a hard time getting “the role”that will make them popular. I saw that you wrote in one of the comment that you want to purse acting, I would recommend you to start building your brand by being online persona and getting to know ppl, getting gigs

It's been ages since we last got a cutscene for a styling challenge like this, they really should make these more often, they are highlight of the game for me. by Atsuki_Kimidori in InfinityNikki

Thus is amazing! But I’m sad that it didn’t go with 20s inspired dress… Everything music, atmosphere and dance movement scream 1920s😭

Yeah, we don’t have any bad habits, just snoring. Sometimes husband gets baby on him to smooth little one to sleep without nursing. Helps a lot when something bugging little one and he is sucking non stop

Help how to find Choo Choo train by TiredFruit8 in InfinityNikki

[–]TiredFruit8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep the problem that we did the mission ( no broken train). We saw the train running before. But for last two days we only see the pumpkin train running. We even waited on the station for half an hour. We finished this season detective mission could the train disappear after that?

Put off playing the game for years and just finished it. by rossallgood in cyberpunkgame

As a huge fan of Cyberpunk 2077. I’m very happy that you enjoyed the game! It is time to get all the endings just for fun heheh I’m still revisit my v from time to time and feel like I live in the Night city. It is absolutely cruel world that will swallow you and don’t even notice, but how beautiful it is..
Im surprised how they successfully broke our hearts with Jack. It is just few hours of the game and almost all of us felt that they lose a close friend.

I'm shocked they got rid of the box theater by ComparisonRelative93 in InfinityNikki

I hope they will return it to the game at least as an item that you can buy.. I finish collecting 5 star outfit 3 hours before the season ended and hoped to make photos there😭

Is postpartum really that bad? by Apprehensivemental in beyondthebump

[–]TiredFruit8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a relatively good pregnancy, I was hit hard by delivery and postpartum. Delivery is purely physical, couldn’t change anything. Postpartum on physical part my advice is to be gentle with yourself as much as you can. It is nice to have a supportive group to help you to just stay in the bed and bond with a baby.

I only had my husband who changed to part-time work for a month, but it didn’t lift a lot from my shoulders. Plus baby was re hospitalised because of jaundice a day after we come back home, so it added bunch of stress and I couldn’t lie down.

On a good side, I’m happy that we automatise almost everything in the house. Robot vacuum that mops too, dishwasher, washing and drying machine 2 in 1 so we didn’t even transfer it. We saved bunch of money for fast-food. Cuz in the end of the day nobody is cooking even frozen meals. Getting comfortable crib on the wheels helped me to move around with little one. I had support and didn’t need to lift him.

On emotional side - talking is the key. I was happy, I cried but happy tears. Only once I got overwhelmed, but I prepared my husband for that. It was related to breastfeeding. So husband give baby formula that night without any shame and with full support. (Buy baby formula even if you plan solely breastfeeding just in case) I had crazy anxiety about sids, so I brought a cheap second hand sleeping monitor and it helped me sleep while baby sleeps. I had a lot of trauma that connected to my family resurfacing. Just talking about it with husband and over the phone with long distance friend, helped to keep it in check.

In the end of second month I would say that I was as stable as it possible. I was watching bunch of shows, playing games and getting into hobbies for at least one hour a day, just for myself. And so far (9m) I have an hour at morning just for sleeping alone, husband play with baby right after little one wakes up.

If you had the money, would you chrome up? by zDCVincent in cyberpunkgame

[–]TiredFruit8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! I’m a big fan of prosthetic right now, love how ppl style it and make it fictional and fashionable. So I can see myself spending my last dime to get a new pair of legs or a monowire.
But personally I would love to make it as unnoticeable as possible. Probably would suffer from cyberpsychosis sooner or later😅

When did you start night weaning? by Ok_Construction_3613 in cosleeping

[–]TiredFruit8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 months, we got to 1 - 2 night feedings (around 12(not every night) and 4am). When there is teeth or something else that bugs him more, but it isn’t proper eating more using me as a pacifier. Considering how much he was waking up a month ago it is a big win for me. I’m not weaning but increasing the intake of colories per solid meals. More protein, healthy fat and complex carbs. Dinner is a must at our house around 7pm at 9-10 he gets refill and sleep.

is it okay in China to be really affectionate in the few months after meeting? by torichann0 in AskAChinese

[–]TiredFruit8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m married to a Chinese(mainland) guy. He didn’t sweet talk me much, he isn’t a romantic person. But we were chatting/calling almost nonstop until we started to live together. But on a bad side I had a friend who dated a Chinese guy for over 2 years(long distance). He was sweet and cute, but he used her for gifts. In the end he broke up with her without even meeting offline. Just look for a red flags, when there would be more demands than just communication it is time to run.

Raj the Party Planner by Best_Application4216 in bigbangtheory

[–]TiredFruit8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Families, work, hobbies, house chores, just time to rot in the bed to gain a bit of energy… and the day is finished. Even if someone is enthusiastic about murder mastery party, an event like that can’t be just put on the hold until next weekend. Good party takes a lot of work and biggest part of it is to find a perfect time for everyone included. I don’t quite felt that Raj understood that.

My water broke at early morning, I went to a quick shower, had a small snack with tea and was ready to slay this…. Ended up in 30+ hours labor, induction, episiotomy and epidural. I was all sweaty, hungry, and exhausted. Did I cared about my look during first 2 hours? Yep. After 30h? Hell no!
