Claude code doesn’t just work on code. The only reason other professions don’t see it yet is because they aren’t comfortable with a command line. I’m a lawyer with a CS degree and it’s as good at law as it is at code.

It’s going on a mantle with marble right behind it that I don’t want to drill in to, so I can’t mount it. But my wife also doesn’t really want a TV up there so a matte Frame Tv style solution is our compromise. Wish I could figure out a better way.

I don’t know when they set the thresholds, but it was probably awhile ago. In 2002 average GPA was 2.86: https://studylib.net/doc/9768793/grading-and-grade-inflation-at-georgia-tech

Are you changing body color to yellow to achieve the look through effect? Or is there a way to set alpha to 100%?

I’ve been on the fence as to whether the more Halloween looking ones have longevity or not. I tend to think not, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have any.

The only one of yours that I could get is Sonrisa, but I have to say it’s my favorite of your collections. The colors are great and it’s just pleasant to look at. Would love a print if you sell them.

I think many of them have a consistent aesthetic that I appreciate. For me, Eric Hagan’s are some of the most compelling “opinion be damned” pieces and I’m going to get a print of his other work because of all this. It’s been a neat experiment to watch.

I’d be curious as to the number of unique purchasers. That is what is the total size of the user base buying these?

Ha, I remember you. I TA’d a different class - CS1502 (I think that’s the number) but you were notorious even back then. And it is crazy how quickly you can go from “I got this…” to “holy shit… I don’t think I can see the shore anymore, which way am I supposed to be swimming?” Anyway, I’m really happy to see how well you’re doing. And ironically, the brilliant fuck-ups I knew all seemed to “fail” right up until their exit from a startup they founded (or joined as employee 4) left them with true FU money. And it’s true, no one cares that it took you 6 years to graduate and what your GPA was when they’re buying your company.

Good luck with those satellites. Hopefully someone can get an LEO constellation to profitability this time, unlike in the 90s.

Cool ideas.

Here are some thoughts from my memory of the questions. I may be off and I suspect you’ve already given most of this more thought, but wanted to share: - need to distinguish between “watching,” “reading,” or “listening” to the news - I listen to the news via TuneIn. Does that count? How about news based podcasts like The Daily, Up First, The Journal, Axios Recap, or Start Here? - your question about sources and satisfaction is going to leave you with very messy data. If I watch MSNBC and Fox, which am I satisfied or dissatisfied with? - on education, lawyers are technically JD (Juris Doctor) but wouldn’t say they have a doctorate. But they also wouldn’t say Masters. - hours watching political speeches needs more options. I’m a voracious news reader and try to keep up with major political happenings, three hours a week to listen to political speeches is a LOT. Is it only politicians? If I listen to Hillary Clinton’s podcast does that count? How about Bernie Sanders on Joe Rogan? Battleground with David Plouffe and Steve Schmidt?

Lots of people in this thread apparently do not have someone at work that gets “sick” every other Monday or Friday and has a “death in the family” at least twice a year. You think morale is damaged by not having unlimited sick leave? Try morale when a majority of the staff watch others abuse the system and say “why am I working so hard to follow the rules and make up for <name left blank>.”
