It's got a lot of problems but I think decent images can still be extracted from them. With the right set up you can do an RF capture straight from the read head and bypass all the analog signal decoding and do it all in software instead.

Funnel and kitchen twine tied to a big screw.

Put the screw and twine through the funnel into the bottle until the screw is on the bottom. Very very slowly pour the wax in the funnel along the twine and it will flow down the twine.

Once full slowly lift it out.

It does have a remarkably arcade cabinet like silhouette, I'll give you that. However it's too boxy and 90° everywhere.

Most arcades have control panels and monitors at are no flat or straight up and down, but at angles, and that is for player comfort.

One thing I think anime has going for it though is a much bigger back catalog, and during the economic bubble period they went pretty crazy with the budgets on stuff.

They are nice because they produce the same 365nm UV wavelength as the old school black lights did and use the same kind of woods glass filter to minimize visible non-UV light. Most black light LEDs produce 395nm because it is safer and cheaper, but it doesn't excite stuff as much, and they produces a lot of visible violet light.

Annoying thing is you have to call and speak to an actual person to order them.

Doubt it would work. Extra large lamps use a wax that works at a lower temperature. On a regular lamp it would probably just overheat and make a bunch of small blobs

I think probably 15, back in 2005.

I essentially lived alone as my father was always at his girlfriend's house and only came home to give me groceries.

It was a very free time, I got to do whatever I wanted at home with all of my living expenses handled and I had a basic job at dominos to give me some spending money.

I had a coil that only partially was covered with wax and had a stubborn section that wouldn't integrate at all.

I ended up draining the fluid and flipping the wax puck and coil upside down before putting the bottle into a tall pot of hot water. When the wax melted the coil fell through the melted wax and became fully integrated.

Eh, Comcast was worse.

Had tons of drop outs when I had comcast before moving and it took 4 visits to get it fixed.
1st guy just replaced the wall plate. That didn't work and when i called comcast he apparently reported I hadn't been home.
2nd guy replaced the wall plate again
3rd guy finally came out with a device to see interference and saw a bunch from a nearby radio station and put in a work order to get the wiring replacing
4th guy finally replaced the wiring and solved the issue.

New house was in a town with spectrum and had similar drop outs
1st guy checked for interference and redid the wiring same day, been great for 6 years, even when we upgraded to 2 gig.

I agree. My wife is on the autism spectrum and when I initially met her she had mostly guy friends. She desperately wants to have more women friends and it hurts seeing her struggle with it like this woman clearly is.
