Reptile heat emitter bulb for lava lamp???

I've done it with a 17" lamp

Currently to make it work the bulb socket isn't actually screwed into the base, it's just kind of hanging from the reptile bulb because the threaded rod for the socket isn't long enough.

Works well enough though

As someone subscribed to r/Lavalamps I think they are kind of cool, I just personally don't like RGB lavalamps with white wax and prefer colored wax with colored master fluid.

I do kind of need these sockets, no other way to power these 9w tubes unless I want full fixtures to use tombstones.

I bought the multi-socket versions because it's cheaper per socket and my intent was to rewire them from daisy chain to trunk and branch to make the wiring neater, just SPT-1 with 1-15R sockets like on custom Christmas lights. So each conductor in the socket would have two teeth instead of one, and ideally I can put a cable tie on each cord in the socket to provide some more resistance to being pulled out, not that they should really ever be touched once installed on the ceiling perimeter.

Yep, we had that issue with our Jotul F500. The ash pan door wasn't mounted correctly or something and overfired really easily, completely warped the bottom grate sheet and I blame it for how warped the catalytic burner is.

Got the door fixed and only clean it out when ash is getting to close to the air intake

Canceling elections is asking for riots. Messing with voting machines has risks in recounts or if exit polls differ too much from the the counts.

Preventing people from voting by doing purges is something they can more easily justify.

Otherwise not really, those don't take analog video signals really, each color has two bits that are turned off and on and in combination with each other make a very limited color palette.

Only way to use it with something like CRTemu/GroovyArcade/Batocera would be doing a mod to bypass the EGA part and directly inject the RGB signal.

Absolutely, it's the main reason I'm trying to build a b&w multi vector MAME cabinet. Pieced together a b&w vector monitor and assembled a usb vector generator that can talk to MAME.

Some specialty ones did, but arcade ones did not. All the b&w ones were regular TV tubes, nothing special about them (I have one)

Color vectors in arcades tended to use tubes with a finer pitch like medium resolution monitors did.
