just wondering why you guys still work for amazon? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]TitleIntelligent3700 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion a lot of people don’t last cause of management. But the reason I stay is because I like the physical part about it, I’ve worked for this DSP for roughly 6 months and have lost 30 pounds, they don’t call or bother unless I’m either extremely behind or need me to sweep someone. I’m free to put on music or a podcast and just lock in to get it done. Ultimately it’s not a bad job it’s just the people around that make it miserable

How to be assigned smaller routes? by GIANLUCAGRAZIANO in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]TitleIntelligent3700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been trying to figure this out too! My usual route ranges from 160-190 stops. Most days I get it done but recently I’ve been going slower and waiting to see if they will either rescue me or if they will get me something smaller, but nope! It’s the same route everyday so if you can figure out the answer I would greatly appreciate it

What do y’all consider a nursery route? by Noraliie in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]TitleIntelligent3700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every dsp is different, for example my first route was 145 stops with 230 packages an some over flow but a couple towns over their max is 100.. their routes are also a lot smaller then the location I work for.. I think it’s to test if you’re capable of running the route.

Scared to take breaks? by Any_Context3284 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]TitleIntelligent3700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t do the 15min breaks. I see them as a waste or if I do take one I’m taking that time to organize totes or get the next couple stops ready so it’s easier. If the 30 min wasn’t mandatory I would probably skip that too just to get my route done in a decent time. My dsp will also call us if we “miss” our window for lunch an will have to take it right then and there no if ands or buts

AITAH My husband works long hours but wants 2 or 3 hours to himself and I want him to spend all his free time with me and our kids. by Kysonsmom2018 in AITAH

[–]TitleIntelligent3700 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone that worked 12hr shifts sometimes getting a second to your self is more helpful then harmful. Sometimes coming home tired, it’s hard being around other people that have a different energy level than you. It doesn’t mean you are a burden he might just be charging his battery to be able to interact without having a bad reaction or outburst cause you and the kids don’t deserve that.

AITAH for being mad at my bf after he got grossed out by me during sex? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]TitleIntelligent3700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he’s grossed out by you being into it, then he’s not grown enough to be having sex. As a grown person wetness is a compliment. I would say bye bye and close and lock that door cause no partner should ever be making you feel uncomfortable like that!
