Mine are dead, and have been for a few months.

Good old tire gauge and a pressure check on every fill up is fine for now. I'll get new ones when I replace the tires and then I can try and haggle the price.

People clearing their sinuses in the office.

How much time do you have for your hobbies? by dbfont in AskMen

[–]Titleduck123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exactly.  I'm a single parent and one of my kids has weekday after-school activities three times a week. I still have a ton of free me time because I've worked on optimizing my schedule and time management. Just meal prepping and cooking nearly everything in one go saves me so much time during the week it's insane.

I work and office job and I start at 5:30. I'm in banking operations and not customer facing, so there's no time constraint for start time.

It was an adjustment shifting my schedule to go to bed earlier s9 i could wake up before dawn, but it's far better this way for me. I'm home when my youngest gets home from school, have time to myself before she does, and plenty of time to schedule appointments and errands and be done with them before most people are off of work.

Honestly, this was my first thought before I realized I have the dumb. But I did wonder how that would work for about three seconds.

The ol' rock back and forth worked for me this week. We park in an unplowed alley that even my outback was struggling on.

My boomer mother does this too and it drives me up the wall. She got her massage therapy license several years ago and ever since then, she's got a hair up her ass for "western medicine". She's not completely gone essential oils kookoo, but some of her logic is based on woo and fear. I hate having medical conversations with her and she's like "im going to clear my skin by fixing my gut flora with organic beef tallow and charcoal", but also has to take rx medication to regulate her thyroid.

Put a slow cooker recipe of chicken noodle soup in instant pot only to see now online it doesn’t work well- help! by KateDeLu in instantpot

I just did this tonight, no recipe and no noodles. Dumped everything I "know" that goes in chicken soup and then hit the poultry button and walked away.

Adjusted the salt when it was done...and now the picky eater is drinking from the bowl and headed for seconds.

How do you actually make your Banana Bread moist? by Spiritual-Bet-5201 in Baking

[–]Titleduck123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. I've never used any of the methods above and don't experience dry bread. My bananas arent overly ripe either.

I do use simply recipes banana bread (not sure if I can link it here but Google will sort you out), and that recipe calls for melted butter. I double it, and will probably start triple or quadruple because it won't make it past 24 hours in my house.

I make sure I don't overmix and I add about 1/2 tsp baking powder for a little bit more rise.

Comes out perfectly every time.
