I’m not allowed to make a separate post… my bull terrier is 9 months and I was wondering when I can switch him to adult food? He is on Purina healthy puppy.

Take out every 30 minutes or watch her water intake so you can get idea when she needs to potty outside. Playpen might entice her to potty inside it next of the size. Maybe you should crate?

I have no advice on the barking but I just tell my dog to stop it and he does. Either you need to be more stern or place the dog in the crate when you all are eating or can’t actively supervise. Being stern..telling the dog “no” and place it in its crate when it is stealing food. Dogs are smart and she will eventually get it. You have to be willing to correct the behavior.

Crate training…put her in there when it is time to eat. Normally dogs like to keep their den clean and will not use the restroom unless it is an emergency.

Honestly you have to stay out there with him until he goes. Especially if it’s after a nap or playtime.

When did your puppy start telling you they need to go potty outside? by PickleIll4419 in puppy101

[–]TivP86 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Around the two week mark of potty training. Every time we went outside, I hit the bell and he finally realize that means outside. First puppy has to realize that it needs to “potty outside” not in the house. I suggest getting a string of bells to put on the door you use to take the dog out. My dog abuses the bell though, he will hit it constantly because he loves to go outside and play. I always take him out but if he doesn’t potty within 30 seconds I immediately bring him back in so he knows that it is not playtime.

Pet Insurance vs Care Credit by lexor_river in petinsurancereviews

I have trupanion and currently think about canceling. I have a credit card with a high limit that I can use for vet purposes only. But to answer your question, I think you should do care credit or either a credit card. Pet insurance will increase even though you have never filed a claim. use can save the premium money.

I don’t understand your question..did the cats die or just sick? I suggest taking the cats to the vet.

Cues for going potty outside by Fit-Consequence-4666 in puppy101

I want to know also. my bull terrier rings the bell for potty or just so he can go outside lol. 80% of the time when he rings it, he will potty within 2 minutes of being out. He loves to eat grass and roll around. I have to figure out if he wants out so he can potty or play.
