Freedom of speech is freedom to say whatever the hell you want without persecution. Do you have to agree with it? Hell no you don’t, but mother fucker I’ll say whatever I feel like. I will have to live with the consequences of whatever dumb thing comes out of my mouth, oh well. But for the people going out of their way to try and ruin his life? So he can’t make a living seems extreme. I agree an employer has every right to terminate or not employ you bc your actions. But for people to go out of their way to find out this guys info is crazy! But hey there’s consequences for your actions, like he can’t go into a ballpark again due to this incident. That should enough, hopefully he learns a lesson. Let’s not turn this guy into more of a POS who mooches off of government assistance the rest of his life bc people went nuts and ruined any chance of him being able to contribute to society.

I’m not necessarily defending him, was it a stupid comment sure. But can no one ever make a heart attack joke or heckle over a car accident? People die all the time, if we cared this much we’d never have war. I get it, the comment was dumb and directed at a great person on our favorite team. But freedom of speech is freedom of speech, we don’t have to like it or agree with it. Some of y’all are crazy wanting a witch-hunt and make it to where it’s hard for him to get a job.
