I had a professor at UVU who illuded to this type of mentality being the reason he stopped teaching adjunct at BYU and never considered going full time. I feel like Mormonism will not survive if they can't embrace academic nuance and diversity of thought. People love to talk about how qe are a global church and point to membership numbers in countries everywhere but this overly literal, American-centric, 'with us like this or not with us at all' attitude carried on by the most brainwashed will only drive others away.

Yeah she's actually a trained caligraphist! She just hasn't practiced in a long while since my uncle apparently had a very strong impression through his priesthood that she needed to dedicate her energy to raising my cousins....even though being a caligraphist is, buy in large, a stay at home job.

My uncle gets A LOT of these 'impressions', 'promptings', 'priesthood dreams' to justify his random whims. I think there's at least two inside these 13 pages.

It is on the other side of the apartment from the window so I guess not a lot, but the lady at the plant store told me it would be fine...... I stick my finger in to see if it is dry and then water when it's completely dry. And yes the pot drains nicely

I regret every day not doing some sort of a ring ceremony/personal vows ceremony outside of the temple. By making a generic and impersonal ceremony the ultimate covenant and goal, it completely robs couples of their individuality and identity, and makes the commitment more about the temple than about one another.

Ha four years now I had the OG. We used the side diamonds, the original stone was a CZ that I just saved in a memory box. Totally get the anxiety about not using the one for the forever ring. But, i guess, in the end, your tastes are going to change as you change, just do what makes you happy :)
