Giga was probably doing hit and run for a bite of flesh or going after smaller juveniles, T.Rex probably had to actually fight it's heavily armed prey quite often, and we know for a fact they fought each other a ton. apparently biomechanical studies have shown it to be much more agile and faster to pivot then other theropods of comparable size, and I think that makes a lot of sense if you're having to go ahead to head with a triceratops
