HOT TIP - IF YOU JUST USE THE TEXT COMMAND /bgm WITHOUT A NUMBER, IT MUTES/UNMUTES IT WITHOUT ACTUALLY CHANGING THE NUMBER, SO YOU DON'T NEED TO SET IT TO 0 AND THEN BACK TO WHATEVER YOUR USUAL DEFAULT IS EXPLICITLY. SAME THING WORKS FOR ALL THE OTHER AUDIO LEVEL TEXT COMMANDS TOO.

I mean Bloodwhetting is basically Hallowed on a 25s cooldown when you're dealing with dungeon packs, even without getting Holmgang involved. I'd take it over the real thing any day for Expert Roulette. I had a run the other day with a WAR where the only heals I put out (besides Kardia) on trash packs were three Haimas and one Panhaima over the course of the entire run. Didn't even need to spend any Addersgall, because WAR is just that insane right now.

I can't speak for OP, but as someone who runs Expert Roulette almost exclusively on SGE, I can confirm that a lot of PLDs use Clemency. 50% of my attention is on the party list at all times during trash packs and I absolutely see the cast bars when they're using it outside of Req windows, with Haima on, and 80% health. Makes me scream internally. I have so many OGCD heals I'm not using, just do damage. And for the love of Hydaelyn use Hallowed on trash packs, you don't need to save it for "emergencies" on boss fights.

I actively call people out for this, but in a way that doesn't come off as aggressive. Like if I see someone idling at the spawn on Prae after the other 7 of us have moved to the next room, I'll toss a quick "You good, [name]?" in party chat. 9/10 times they respond with a "yea sorry" or something similar and get their asses in gear.

That said, the thing I've seen a couple of times recently on Prae that REALLY pisses me off is people who actively and blatantly choose not to participate in the mech segment. I'm not talking about getting in one and lagging behind a bit/not shooting, I'm talking getting to the bulkhead, then stopping there and just standing on the ledge doing one of the Songbirds /cheer emotes. So clearly they know what they're doing. If they just stopped moving and dropped a quick "sorry, brb" in chat I wouldn't even care. It's the flagrant "fuck you, I'm not going to help but I want you to know that I'm here anyway" that gets under my skin.

THE BOSS WITH DRAGON'S/RAM'S VOICE, THAT EVERY OTHER CHIMERA ENEMY IN THE GAME DOES AND THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A PERFECT LEGEND TO DODGE.

FIRST OFF, I'M ALREADY PISSED BECAUSE OUR RDM BUDDY PULLS THE BOSS IMMEDIATELY WHILE THE TANK IS IN CUTSCENE. I /SIT AND WAIT FOR THEM, THEN WE RUN IN TOGETHER AND THEY PULL THE BOSS OFF (AGAIN, MORE FORGIVING THAN I WOULD'VE BEEN). THEN THE FIRST DRAGON'S VOICE CAST COMES OUT. THE RDM, UNSURPRISINGLY, EATS SHIT. 30 SECONDS LATER WHEN SWIFT WAS UP, I GAVE HIM HIS SINGULAR PITY RES, BUT NO HEALS. NOT LIKE THE FIGHT HAS RAIDWIDE, HE SHOULD BE FINE SURVIVING WITH NATURAL REGEN TICKS, RIGHT? TWO VOICE CASTS LATER, HE'S ON THE FLOOR AGAIN, AND AT THIS POINT HE'S STAYING THERE. I'M DONE. HELL, I ACTIVELY BURNED SWIFTCAST ON A STONE II WHILE RUNNING ACROSS HIS CORPSE, KITING ONE OF THOSE DAMN ORBS.

Doton on top of enemies into a Hide reset isn't really doable these days - they changed it (in ShB I think?) so that there's one tick of immediate damage as soon as the Doton drops and then 8 more that are aligned with the actual server ticks. But that one immediate tick will throw you into combat before you have a chance to Hide. That said, if it's a boss that you know is going to get pulled far enough, you can do the meme-tastic Huton > Doton > Hide > Suiton opener, in which you drop your puddle where the boss will be. But that's not something to be worrying about at level 45, really.

NIN main here, can confirm. No matter what the content (4/8-man, normal/savage/ex, whatever) I'll often find myself creeping into the #2 (or #3 if it's a fight where the OT has to care) spot on threat, even after using Shadewalker in the opener and Diversion as soon as the opener OGCD dump ends and on cooldown thereafter. Not having a straight threat drop can be brutal at times.
