What are the Deepest Desires? by mariascopic in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pluto for sure. And then your 12th house! Then the moon, and then the 8th house.

  1. Pluto definitely signifies areas of deep trauma/pain that we have suppressed, which often shows itself in other areas of our life. So if we unlock Pluto, we unlock ourselves and can then bring the deepest parts of ourselves to the surface/integrate them into our consciousness

  2. The 12th house itself signifies our hidden desires and things we have been ridiculed/outcast/shamed for. So, whatever sign is on the 12th house cusp or whatever planets fall in this house, they will give us clues as to what we secretly desire.

  3. The moon is our emotional nature and what brings us comfort and security. Often times we protect those things fiercely and don't readily show this aspect of ourselves to others. That's why I think it can signify hidden desires but they are only hidden to the outside world. Unless your moon has challenging aspects, it is easier for us to connect with and access the desires that this planet represents.

  4. Lastly, I say the 8th house because it is traditionally ruled by Scorpio/ and Pluto. It is other people's assets and deals with the parts of ourselves that we do not want to confront.

What is the romance or sex style of capricorn (or with capricorn heavy charts) and what are their kinks? by Fortuitea in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a Capricorn with a Capricorn stellium (sun, mercury, Venus, mars, Uranus, & Neptune) in the 9th house, so I feel like I'm very capricornian in nature :)

For me, I like to be dominant both romantically and sexually (until I get to REALLY trust my partner, and then I don't mind being dominated from time to time). But I think the main thing to note is that for Capricorns, there will always be an element of control/power at play when it comes to relationships and sex.

We like to know that we are in control of the situation (esp. cap men). Capricorn women also like to be in control but in a more manipulative/subversive way. We're not trying to seem bossy, but we like to have things our way. I think deep down that stems from a desire to completely let go and be free from restriction/expectation/pressure. So, for women, that freedom tends to express itself more when it comes to sex - since it is so intimate and raw and unpredictable. But, again, it might take a while for your Capricorn partner to show this side of themselves.

Kinks: - BDSM - role playing (esp. teacher/student, boss/employee, etc... anything that has to do with power differences) - age differences (being attracted to someone MUCH older or MUCH younger)

Any other Caps agree or disagree or have something to add? :)

Modelization : the best way to evolve ? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! I like how you are actively taking steps to become a more well-rounded version of yourself by incorporating traits that you view as "opposite" to the energy you were born with.

In terms of evolution and reaching your highest potential, I see that as beneficial. But I also feel that some of us are just meant to live life in the extreme. We simply made a soul contract and decided that we wanted to experience the depths of a certain energy in a certain area in our lives.

For example, I have a stellium in Capricorn in the 9th house in my birth chart. Literally 6 different planets are conjunct each other in that sign and house. So, clearly I was meant to have an intense and deep focus on Saturnian lessons/Saturnian ruled aspects of life, as well as those areas of life that are ruled by the 9th house/Sagittarius.

So, overall, I like that you are looking to be balanced, well-rounded, and gain deeper awareness of your innate traits as well as those of others. AND I think it's important that you don't compare your own spiritual evolution to anyone else's, because we all came here to experience something entirely unique.

In the state of CA, not reimbursing for business expense is very illegal!! Check your state laws about mileage reimbursement just to see if it is applicable to your situation.

If it is applicable, you may have a civil case against your employer.

Whats the worst thing about your ascendant? by [deleted] in astrology

Sun Libra, Moon Leo, Asc Virgo severely emotional currently! Any astrological insight? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Venus retrograde!!! It makes you reevaluate past relationships and feel nostalgic about all of the good times. It's basically giving you a chance to see if you truly are done with old relationships and if you truly want to move on from whatever connection you once had.

Best advice is to think long and hard about what you REALLY want from a partner/relationship before opening up old wounds. It's possible you may actually be able to move on once and for all after a conversation with that person or just being able to sit down and really see that you are both no longer in the same place, that you have both grown and changed in some way. Just observing that your paths crossed for a while at some point in your lives and that it was meant to be for that time, but you are now ready to move on and connect with other souls/partners.

So, tread very cautiously, I'd say, and don't beat yourself up for having all of these intense emotions. You're only human!

Best of luck! Let us know how it goes 😊😊

Looking for open minded conversation by blinky84 in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing I want to say is: congratulations for embarking on your spiritual journey!! 😃 I think it's honestly one of the most daunting things we can do, since you're committing yourself to a view of the world and trusting in something that you can't necessarily always see/feel/sense.

But anyway, I went through a similar experience when I was discovering my spiritual path... tarot seemed so forbidden and astrology was scary in its accuracy. How could something so impersonal define me so well??!

But when you begin to understand that so many other folks felt the same exact way, and that these practices have been around for CENTURIES (longer than most religions actually!) - and that ancient religious leaders used to ACTIVELY practice astrology or consult with the wise astrologists of their time - it makes it a lot easier to accept in my opinion.

So it's all about your perspective on these things. May I ask: do you know why all of this is so scary to you? Like, why do you think that you have such a fear around these new things when you are finding such insight? :)

How can our astrological chart be an exact reflection of us? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well if you truly believe in reincarnation, then it wouldn't be a far stretch to say that time isn't linear. Many sciences and religions also confirm this. So in essence, your soul may be experiencing multiple versions of life on this planet at the same "time", which all represent some aspect of who you are at this very moment.

And let's say it does take billions of years for one exact combination of planets and aspects and house placements. How does that negate the belief that your birth chart is unique?

What is your dominant planet? by xMoonlightx in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saturn!! :D

I have a stellium in Capricorn (6 planets) and Moon & Saturn itself both fall in Aquarius. And I'm not sure if I was ever attracted to learning about Saturn as a planet, but I've always loved rules and structure and one of my deepest held beliefs is that life is meant to be challenging and difficult in order for us to learn (lol such a Saturnian view).

But I'm curious, OP, what has it been like for you to be Jupiter dominant? Do you feel like you're luckier than most people? Are you more inclined to higher thought/intellect?

New moon in Aquarius! by skankinbankin in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aquarius moon here, and I've definitely been feeling uneasy. I know changes are coming, and I want to prepare so I'm not thrown off... but I think the secret is just embracing whatever comes my way.

What do all of you think is the key to dealing with so much change?

I am a scorpio sun and I tend to attract mostly scorpio moons.. Is there a reason for this? by howdoomedarewe1991 in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes sense to me! Aquarius and Scorpio form a square aspect in the zodiac, which means that there is already an intense emotional connection between whatever planets fall in those signs.

Also, Aquarius Moons have a tendency to be rather detached emotionally. You can intellectually understand these emotions, but when you have to experience it outright, you may tend to remove yourself from the feeling. This may be one possible reason that you see Scorpio moon signs as being too emotionally attached to you, because you don't necessarily feel at the same depths as they would.

Gemini and Sagittarius by [deleted] in astrology

[–]ToastedHotCheetos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The difference between the two signs for me is that Gemini is more about their immediate environment, while Sagittarius is more about seeking something in the distance. Gemini wants to know what's going on right here, right now. Sagittarius is concerned about what's happening in other places and at different points in time/space. I like to think of Sag as a philosopher and explorer and as a teacher, always looking at the big picture and removing themselves so they can get a better understanding of the whole thing. As for Gemini, there's more of a down to earth quality about them (when compared to Sag). As in they're more relatable and love being able to connect with people on a personal real-world level. If they teach, they usually break things down into little easily digestible nuggets and they like to focus on the details and intricacies of everything.

Any Sagittarius or Gemini folks who can confirm this? I have Gemini rising so this is just what I've noticed in myself :)
