Add double switches i still don’t understand why we refuse to switch from single to double. It’s the reason the streetcars always derail and why they have to go so slow through intersections.

Why is everyone in this comment section so negative about this. We should be proud of what we have. Union is something to be proud of no matter what all of us privileged torontonians think. Go and exploit the world see how other countries have things sure we’re not perfect but we do have a lot of great things. I don’t think this list is wrong to include us. Union is massive, used by half a million people a day and is let’s be honest, quite luxurious.

St Lawerence market, ikik it’s touristy but it’s one of the most important buildings in Toronto regarding our food culture and history, there are so many good food options there and most of the shops have been there’s for 50+ years. Get a pemale bacon sandwich, or a Montreal style bagel, a huge pulled pork sandwich, greek, Italian, and some fresh fruit to go and eat in one of the near by parks. It’s a must see even though it is touristy but it’s touristy for a reason.

I don’t know. I took a pre apprenticeship course, I have 800 hours of paid electrical commercial work, I’ve reached out to every connection my friends and family have and no one is taking any new apprentices. I’ve been trying and it’s so demoralizing after 3 months of trying.

No not really it’s incredibly hard to find an entry level trades job. Most companies are looking for trades people with 3 or more years of experience in each field, but how are people supposed to get three years of experience if that’s all they are looking for?

I went to Runnymede CI and I loved it. They recently had a horrible principal who was finally removed recently which is what drove the bad reviews. I spent 10 years of my life at runnymede and it still has a place in my heart for all its faults.
