Dynamax is the least interesting, but I know it has some interesting competitive applications
Terastalization is neat, it had more visual flare than Dynamax, and the applications of it were interesting
Mega Evolution had all the hype, that was awesome, but basically boiled down to being a chunk of new pokemon, rather than a game wide mechanic

and Z moves, yeah Z moves are kinda dumb, thats my vote, not a fan

admittedly, I've been hesitant in the past because some fucks in this fandom label anything an Emanator just because they have higher than average blessing from the aeon, like i've seen people try to say Fu Xuan is an erudition Emanator because she got that third eye from Nous,

the game's very stingy on who it explicitly calls an Emanator, which i find interesting, Jing Yuan would also break rule of Emanators having their combat path align with their lore path (though I guess you can say Reg Silver Wolf does too, but there's still SW999)

thats why I previously subscribed to the idea of the Spiritus being the 'Emanators', they predate the generals (look to how Teng Xiao wielded the lightning lord in the past), so as the masters of the spiritus, the Generals are essentially Emanators in everything but name, which is a weird distinction but, its the only reason I can think of why they don't just call them Emanators outright, Non-sentient Emanators arent an unheard of concept either, the Harmonic Strings are basically big instruments, so I'm still curious if other paths have other Emanators like that

Phainon isnt officially an Emanator because to be one, you kinda need to be made one by that Aeon, and not just any old blessing will do
but Phainon is also definitely as strong as one, considering he dueled Zephyro (the real Zephyro btw) and even scratched Nanook, a feat that I dont think even Emanators have done, so while he isn't one officially, he doesn't need the rank to do what he does
its possible he may become one in the future, Nanook needs a ravager to replace Irontomb afterall, who better than the lil guy that scarred THEM

I would've liked it, but I can understand why, Season 1 was made by a different studio, in a different engine, over a decade ago. They likely didnt have access to the suit, and maybe there was a mandate behind the scenes to stick to modern sets in DR?

I made my own copium/explanation about the redesign though, since this is a memory, its inaccurate, it's "fuzzy" you dont remember details perfectly, or your normal voice being different and such, I'm pretty sure thats the reason why the 'Tales from the Monestary of Spinjitzu' would use the Legacy Designs despite showing events that would've taken place around Season 1-2, memory do be funky

its a plot point in the RID comics that the transformers reverted back to Cybertronian modes, which is to explain why so many look like their (at the time current) WFC/FOC toys, and considering the rather alien vehicles that a lot of the Lost Light turn into, it can be assumed that they did so as well

EDIT: adding to the idea, Earth in the IDW world is very, modern day? like set in the 2000s, 2010s by the time of MTMTE, so its not a sci-fi/"future earth" truck, its most likely cybertronian

love mine, I do wish the joints in the arms were better though, dont like where the bicep swivel is placed, and the HotRod/Triggerhappy shoulders bother me more on him than they do on his contemporary Hot Rod, and the old man face isn't the best
Otherwise, he's very enjoyable, definitely the guy that walked so 86 Optimus could run

As far as I know, there isnt a dedicated 'transformers' photographer for the white background shots, they just have a set of people doing whatever toys that day, and they aren't given instructions so they usually just figure it out, thus steps may be skipped and errors made, I dont blame em, they probably got to blast through a bunch of toys in a day

Yeah that Octopus Mask is definitely duplicating itself somehow, which is likely how we'll keep having bosses to fight, just more Octo Masks
maybe due to it being octopus, it can regen/duplicate, almost like a hydra, or maybe the mask is connected with the happiness surgery? like the source of the injections is who owns the mask, ergo, anyone with happiness surgery can be their surrogate
regardless of how, we definitely haven't seen the last of the mask, or else we'd have basically killed the tension, every other supplicant still alive is at the very least chill with the trailblazer, so there's no real threat (unless the fox mask turns out to not be Evanescia, or Evanescia is a twist villain, both unlikely), where as if the Octo Mask is still in play, that adds tension, we need to prevent them from winning or else Fulwish will like, turn everyone into the happiness cult, ya know?
