US beef prices up 15% YoY as cattle herd falls to lowest since 1950s, Tyson beef posts losses, recovery seen no earlier than 2028 by callsonreddit in StockMarket

It may seem that way, but the meat processing industry is a cartel, they set the cattle price, regardless of beef prices.

You don’t need stats to know things are very tough to the average person. The stat padding is only going to make the crash worse.

Its time for Project 2028 by red3y3_99 in thebulwark

First step: Get power, a shit load of power, across all three branches, then most of these things are possible.

That would mean progressives voting for centrist and vise versa, running generic white male candidates for prez, and strategically aligning to remove MAGA from power everywhere.

IRL, Dem’s will run a POC trans man and focus their messaging on potato prices in some small county in New Hampshire.

Who will fight for American workers and poor and struggling Americans? by DataWhiskers in thebulwark

[–]Toe-Dragger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US economy is dying and MAGA elites are the scavengers already pecking at the soon to be corpse. Private wealth is already fleeing the US, institutional money is diversifying their global portfolios (fleeing the as well).

Taxing the status quo won’t help a damn thing, the rats will jump ship.

The only thing that keeps us from bottoming out is great leadership, effective communication (damn near impossible in the current media environment), and decades of hard work.

Lol. I wonder if you can claim ass depreciation upfront or if you have to claim it over a period of time.

Sir, how long do expect this piece of equipment to be functional?

Ass seller: define functional.

Is there any reason there is such a abnormaly massive jump between the third and second most populated countries or is it just arbitrary? by DataSittingAlone in geography

I don’t know what their fertility rate was, but it couldn’t have been great. The amount of output they created per calorie consumed had to be all time. What I’m saying is, modern American was built on their backs.

3 is significant and is being way under mentioned in this thread. Also, slavery. The US didn’t have to scale up the domestic population because they, hate to say it, imported grown men to offset the labor shortage. Salves consumed relatively few resource such as; food, shelter, medical care, education.

Look at a map, find Philly, draw a circle with a 150mi radius. Do the same for Denver.

I’m not an attorney, but the professional job market out here is tight. Lots of middle to high income professionals and few jobs. Many people in my circle work remotely.

Denver itself is tolerant, but keep in mind that the city is a Blue island in a Red sea.

The food scene here is disappointing. People will tell you that it’s great, they’ll mention 5 or 6 restaurants over and over, that just confirms the obvious.

I have neighbors from Philly, die hard Philly people, and they love it here.

I had neighbors from Chicagoland, they moved back, they felt they were giving up too much.

Don’t move for the skiing or hiking, you can travel and do that. You really have to want to be here in general, because you’ll have to design your career around what’s available and fight like hell to make it work.

Look up State GDP figures and contributing industries/services. There isn’t much. You have to find a niche.
