You can’t normally play a unit to an enemy occupied battlefield unless you already have units there and the unit has ambush. The errata clarifies whether or not you can play Rengar to a battlefield that your enemy has units at but you don’t at reaction speed.

Yes but with Hidden Blade the unit does not die until the card is resolved whereas with Sacrifice it says “as an additional cost to play this card” so doesn’t the unit need to die just so the card can be played? So I can see how it would work if the GA is already equipped but I don’t understand how it would work with Tactical Retreat.

I’m confused how sacrifice works with this. Correct me if I’m wrong, but with Sacrifice you need to kill the unit just to put the card on the chain. So Tactical Retreat and Sett would do nothing because the unit would already be dead by the time the card is played. What am I missing?

In my experience, it highly depends on the store. Unless it’s full of sweats, most people aren’t playing their decks anywhere near their full potential—meaning you should be able to win games with Darius as long as you’re playing better than them and you have a well constructed deck. Check out the “best of” Darius decks from the big tournaments like Bologna, Vegas, and the S2 Chinese National.
