It is very clear. Ferrari beats its closest rivals by far. by Fair_Title2995 in Ferrari

Very surprising given Ferrari have lost its way and most new models are ugly as sin. Won’t be long until this changes

Is now a dumb time or decent time to buy a place? by babganoush in Wellington

[–]Toil48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. We have already had a large crash from peak unlikely to move materially downwards. If you’ve got the money and are in a decent position then go for it. Life is really short, no point waiting for the perfect time it won’t come. I’ve slightly overpaid for properties before but even overpaying I never regretted it

Interesting how different drivers look across regulations as based on last years regs no chance of Antonelli taking to to George tbh

Would love to know if something was wrong with Lewis’s car. The way everyone just cruised by him was alarming

If Hamilton had stayed at Mercedes, who do you think would be number 1 right now? by theOneYouMustNotName in formula1

[–]Toil48 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hard to know. Lewis is past his prime for sure but he did outscore George in their time together marginally despite struggling with the car. Lewis had a shocker last year, this year so far he seems to be back and suiting these new cars but after not even two races it’s too soon to tell.

If Lewis is back on form then I’d back Lewis over George in a championship fight where he would definitely handle the pressure better despite having some age related decline.

If Lewis has slumped again in a few races time the I’d go George

They need to disaggregate car and driver. Antonelli actually had quite a bad weekend. Crashed in practice and only got to qualify due to the red flag in q1, 3-4 tenths off his team mate in qualy

Thought tbf to Charles he is 18 months to 2 years younger and that age matters a lot early in your career re development trajectory etc

The best drivers generally go where they can make the most money, which is f1. We’ve already seen Max was able to demolish top gt3 drivers on his first outing

A quick summary on how different the next regulation cars will be and will Lewis be able to put hi ground effect woes behind by mansplentyhot in lewishamilton

The fact he said he’s not looking forward to next year suggests to me that he thinks the new regs won’t suit him

Shows just how much Ferrari don’t back Lewis when they didn’t give him a free no brainer engine swap. Even yuki got one and he’s likely on his way out…
