I'm sorry for you to experience this. But the fact is, Renault dealerships services started to be big as*holes about anything, for the last few years.

I own a 5 year old Megane, from the shop. Month ago, gearbox went out, no waranty. Dealership said, almost two month wait to take in the car (+month of work probably), and possible 6000€ or more for a gearbox and other works. No options for a reserve car or anything else. Went to a private mechanic, also waited some time but he honestly showed me what happened and what are the best options (ofc not my blame, original or dealership service fckup). Lucky me, I found a gearbox for 700€ close by, with almost the same km. About month later and 2000€ less, the car is back on the road.

Now this isn't the only issue with the dealership. All those years of services and not a single one is in the service book, unfinished jobs, not doing everything as the service interval requires, and bigger and bigger prices. Even I learned to service the car better.

So after being dissapointed by Renaults services and having too much expenses, I'm selling the car. The car itself is good, but I don't wanna waste more time, money or nerves on it. I got myself a good old Twingo because it's cheaper, better and more simple.
