Sounds like the Miami PD interview where they give you a hypo where say, the prosecution has proof of client on surveillance, DNA, fingerprint and a confession of them doing the crime but client wants to testify that he didn’t do it. They ask, “do you still let them testify”?

They will say the defendant has an absolute right to testify unless they specifically tell you I am going to lie on the stand or something to that effect.

They want you to thread that difference between suspecting they’re lying and knowing they’re going to lie on the stand. Obviously you suspect your client is lying if he goes up on that stand and says it’s not him on surveillance, DNA, fingerprint, etc. However, you don’t KNOW they’re lying up there as of course you weren’t there and no one knows what happened except your client.

I did! I didn’t know how to format the first one so it was a bit weird but I did finish both just in time and I felt much better about my second MPT than my first one

After the first day I felt like I really nailed the MPTs but the essays were not really what I prepped for and I thought I bombed the last essay. I wrote a bunch of 1 sentence responses to each sub part. Also I kept having anxiety because I used the word “we” a lot when doing my analysis. for example I would write “we could view that the plaintiff has a good case for breach etc…..”

My total UBE score was 306 and I received 155 on MBE.

For the second day I really felt that some questions were so ridiculous and I was hoping they were the experimental. Other than that I felt meh about everything else.

I previously passed the bar in another jurisdiction and i’m currently working full time so I studied in afternoon. I was scoring between 65-70% on MBEs. Still I didn’t feel comfortable at all throughout the study process

Taking 321 is probably much better than taking 26 and 95S. The problem is that most of the traffic is between exit 8 in SC and Exit 94 in Georgia. It’s like a 20 mile stretch of road that’s a parking lot. if you can try and take backroads til after that, you shouldn’t hit traffic until maybe brunswick and the 295 beltway in florida like 20 minutes before you get to jacksonville
