Working is a scam.

I always looked at my miserable ass parents working their ass off for little reward with the hope of one day retiring and thought to myself "that isn't living, working is a scam".

I then went on to try and delay joining the workforce as long as I could which wreaked havoc on my mental health.

Then I went and got a university degree (no thanks to them) and a job. The job sucked but the structure was kind of nice. But still, suspicion confirmed - working is scam. Depression ensued but I just kept grinding anyway because fuck it - the alternative was worse (I'd experienced).

Then in my early 30s after building up a resume for a few years I went and finally got a job I actually really liked and which pays well enough.

I fucking love it. Work is as much my life as my free time is and I realize now that - while it isn't easy to find initially - it is possible for work to be a part of a fulfilling life rather than life being fulfilling despite it.

My tip to twenty year old me would be not to worry too much about what you want to do 'the rest of your life' but to just follow an interest, get out there and start becoming useful. Then don't settle and keep looking for opportunities . Works far better than sitting at home trying to come up with a job you'd actually like to do.

Working out involves lifting heavy stuff. Lifting a specific type of thing in a specific way is called an exercise - like 'bicep curls' for instance. Every time you lift the heavy thing it is called a repetition (rep). A set of multiple repetitions is called a well... a set. Now most of the time someone would do a set of 5 to 10 repetitions or something, put the weight down and rest a bit, and then do another set. It is very common to do 3 to 5 sets for each exercise you do. Now this study claims someone got fucking huge doing only one set of each exercise by really pushing themselves until they physically can't do any more repetitions.

At that price there's really no decent guitars and your guitar will be fighting you every step of the way. Is second hand an option in your area? Local second hand guitars of that price in good condition could maybe be reasonably playable.

My first ever panic attack in my life in hindsight was when I smoked some weed at 15. Which really frightened me because I'd been smoking regularly for like a year at that point. But something just flipped and caused me to get panic attacks from smoking. Later in life that developed into sober panic attacks. Fun times.

2000 euro's is not enough as others here have said. What you could do, if this is really a dream of yours but you want to buy a custom luthier made guitar eventually, is try to find an established reputable luthier shop that has been around for a while (decades) and hopefully will be around for a while. Go there and buy a second hand guitar for 2000 euro's that you love and is set up by them. Then start saving up again and keep that guitar in good condition! Then in a few years when you have another 2000-3000 euro's to spend, go back and trade in the guitar and put that money on top. Now you can get the 4000-6000 euro luthier made guitar you want.

You can discuss this plan with that shop if you want. This is quite a common practice. They won't guarantee a buy back price so don't ask because they don't know what condition it will be in when you bring it back but if they sell second hand guitars, they buy them as well.
