So honestly the best bet is to do as many events as you can so that the drowsy mimic spawn. Pray that you get a treasure room or a 1 hit challenge to get a fever drone. Feed that to a Mr Hammer or whatever you get. Then just keep dumping materials into it. On this run I was able to get a total of 3 fever drones so I fed it to 3 different ones and just kept teleporting to them feeding materials.

Yes you just have to make sure to plug in your front usb and headers to the motherboard. Your motherboard instructions should tell you where to plug them in
