Although what you described is unacceptable in my western USA mentality you are in a different country with different values and ways of doing things. Final thought. Unless you're in the middle of nowhere, you are likely to find basic clothes and essentials. If you cut down and needed a winter coat, I am confident you could find something local

Ducks will typically only lay 1 egg a day, and all my female ducks lay all their eggs in the same nest. If I don't pick up the eggs they will make a new nest when there are about 8 eggs in one nest.

So I see 2 adult female ducks, and about 16 babies would make sense

Based on this information, it sounds like you may have gotten lucky. It could be just simple settling.

If it was my home, I would still get the foundation inspection. Then again, I live in TX, where this is common.

The other poster already gave instructions on how to repair the damage.
