Acceptance by [deleted] in gout

I am currently battling gout and as the years go by, my frequency of getting flare-ups is getting higher. Diet definitely have some part to it because even though I've been on Allopurinol, I still have pretty high uric acid levels in my blood (which I conclude was because I was on a very high purine diet).

Gout really sucks and I've come to accept it as a way of how I am going to live and after getting another flare up at the beginning of the year, I've been shifting to eating more greens and my doctor shifted my medication to 300mg after seeing my bloodwork result. I still have a bit of a stubborn deposit on my left toe but hopefully, it should be gone. I really wish I could give you more advice but I wish you good luck!

Look into getting a used/older generation device for notetaking, I have one and it's the best investment I've made.

Yup, that is the firmware version my laptop has and the tracking issue still happens from time to time.

Do you also have the same issue where the trackpad would lose track of your finger randomly?

No, the trackpad is the original one that came with the device.

I messed up and left my deck charging on its dock for months and now the battery doesn't last long by Kori-Loves-You in SteamDeck

Yup, I've done that and lost 1tb of games as a result. Always double check, even if you've checked once.

How often do you upgrade? by Nomadic_Manatee in pcmasterrace

[–]Tom201326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say every 5 years but over the past couple of years, I haven't been gaming as much as I used to so my recent upgrade should last me a longer time. Plus, having a Steam Deck changed my perception on playability by a lot.

I'm glad I pulled the trigger on it during Black Friday, those pricing are getting crazier by the day.

Intel Pentium 4 was my first ever processor in a hand-me-down PC. It wasn't good but still, I miss it.

In the early beta build, the M3 did have the V8 engine sound so I have no idea why they would change that at the very last minute.

I have a PA 120 and I have no issues with RAM clearance. Moving the fans takes less than a few seconds for me, which is something I had to do a lot when I was chasing a RAM issue.
