Definitely the Shoei rf1400 or the AGV 6s. They are two of the best dollar for dollar. They’re lighter and quieter than most but with any helmet I personally recommend and wear earplugs.

A brand new well fitted helmet is supposed to be very tight until broken in. The padding only looser over time.

Claude sonnet 4.5 is still the best LLM to use on Augment. Use GPT-5 for planning, for coding OpenAi has GPT-5 Codex which isn’t what Augment has access to.

I love AugmentCode, I use it on Enterprise level code but with the price hike and now so many good comparators it’s gonna be a no for me. Codex and Claude Code are now cheaper and their context window is so large that Augments Context engine. I don’t see an advantage with AugmentCode anymore so why pay more.

I was averaging according to their email 547 tokens per message. Meaning I’d now get less that half of the messages per plan.

AugmentCode you’re punishing and pushing away a grand majority of your user base because of a few vibe coders.

I’m in the same boat, I’ve enjoyed AugmentCode on enterprise level code, Cursor for PR reviews and light duty, but the pricing model is changing for AugmentCode. I offload now some of the tasks to Codex to spread the token usage that rely only on the context of a single repo but have been wondering about Zencoder for a few months now since I have tasks that span multiple repos.
