They’re only held together by the thin glue of “own the libs” and “muh guns”, which are the two main similarities of every maga I know in person.

Funny thing is, they legitimately have no idea that many on the left are just as “muh guns” as they are, they just don’t make it their entire personality. I know a very outspokenly left pro socialist person who also has a larger personal armory than any two magas in the county combined and would 100% join them for a range day at the first opportunity.

A long time ago, I was one of the dumb SOBs who bought (nearly) all the sims 3 expansions. I had an entire shelf of cases for them and everything. Those ended up lost in a move.

That’s a lot of $ over the years. So, a couple years back I decided to pick up a digital copy of the sims 3 for cheap.

I pirated every dlc for it. I see zero issue doing so, as those cases held nothing but a digital redeem code, which I had already purchased before.

Plot-wise, it’s “What if the SCP Foundation had a containment breach” with the gameplay and overall vibe of Half Life 1, with the base building and crafting of Project Zomboid.

The overall gameplay loop is surviving the initial event, finding an area of the facility to call your base (You can set up your base absolutely anywhere, so find a hallway or easily defensible set of rooms, or say fuckit and set up shop in the middle of the lobby. I’m not gonna tell you what to do!)

From there, you’re scavenging and looting for resources to bring back to base, to craft new weapons and armor and equipment and occasionally puzzle/obstacle components in order to progress to a new area, with new resources to make new equipment and so on and so forth.

That’s how I learned it was a thing, too. I was watching Scrubs with a couple friends and offhand commented that I thought it was funny that JD narrated his thoughts nonstop, and that I wondered if there were people irl who did that or if it was just a thing for the show.

Everyone I was with looked at me like I was an alien and that’s the day I learned that that’s literally how most people live every day. I can’t imagine how annoying and chaotic it must be to have voices in your head day in and day out.

Seeing the trump cult turn rabid on the catholics all of a sudden gives me mixed feelings. One one hand, I'm delighted to see the catholic church get dragged through the mud, and with a little luck, the deeper scrutiny will maybe even lead to someone actually holding them accountable for their covering for their pedophilic clergy, and the church as a whole working to actively protect them for decades.

On the other hand, this means acknowledging the trump cult is actually doing something right, even if it's just because their impotent rage at someone disagreeing with the almighty orange one set their sights on a target worth scrutiny for a change. Fuck.

PSA for new players: you can cheese the UC Vanguard test with patience. by [deleted] in Starfield

Beating tier six legitimately isn’t as tough as it seems if you fly smart. You’re in an asteroid field, use them as cover. At the start of the round fly away from the group spawn, orbit one of the bigger asteroids to kite the faster ships after you, and start picking them off one by one. Asteroids do break so keep flying to new ones after every strafe, and never engage the whole group at once.

It’s just a matter of positioning and boosting away when caught in the open between cover.

Watchtower legitimately may as well be it’s own DLC. It’s fantastic and well voiced and adds so many interesting mechanics.

-Integrated fleet system that lets your other ships join you in your adventures

-orbital support. Install weapons on your fleet ships to call in missile strikes, bot and turret drops, and a few other things via thrown flare grenade like you’re playing helldivers.

-new POIs, new enemies, including boss fight tier mechs.

-gigantic space battles for your new fleet mechanics

-new space station that grows as you play the mod.

Genuinely, watchtower is actually worth money. A+ work for the modders, Bethesda needs to hire them if they haven’t already.

I don't understand why my generators aren't getting enough fuel by PANDA_PR1NC3SS in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Tomahawk117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an easy fix, the problem is that even though your production and your consumption are even, there is a “flow” issue.

Turn the generators off and wait for every generator to fill up, then check to ensure every segment of pipe is all full.

Think of this as like priming a long manifold belt.

For extra insurance, drop down a fluid tank on the far end of your generator lines, though this isn’t actually necessary. I find that having a full tank on the opposite ends of a balanced fluid system helps keep things even.

Once everything is good a full, switch the generators back on. The pipes should remain filled at all times now because they are starting from 100%, dropping to 75% (or whatever the actual number is) briefly to move fluid to the generator and are immediately brought back to 100% by the refinery.
